ATD Tools 5410 Spark Plug Thread Repair Kit for Ford Triton , Black

Appeared to be used and missing the clips that's supposed to keep it from going in to far .. don't do it , just spend that little extra and get a time-sert kit and use it ... I have sent the item back asking for a full refund .. well I'm reading there return policy and it says they will only take unopened unused items back , ok first off mine didn't come in any plastic or anything to be able to tell if it had been opened 2ndly the item is missing pieces and looks used , which kinda goes back to number 1 .. I'm at a loss for words here . Let's just hope I can change this review to something positive , I hope they issue my refund ass they should do and not hassle me about it .. it's not my fault how it arrived what parts it was missing and it being used for sure .. and it wasn't by me ...fingers crossed .. if not they will here from me every day for the rest of my life bc I'm not gonna let 200 dollars go down the toilet like that for somebody else's left over junk

This product worked great. The only thing that you need to know is after you use it, the original motorcraft spark plug for the triton 3v engines uses a 9/16 or 14mm socket and that spark plug will no longer work. Champion makes a 3v spark plug with a 5/8 or 16mm head, you must use this spark plug after installing the new insert into the cylinder head. Other than that it works perfectly i recommend this tool to anybody that has a 3v triton engine that blows a spark plug out!

The insertion tool for the insert has a different thread pitch. Is unusable. Had a second insertion tool sent and it had the same problem. Don't buy.

Make sure you have a 3valve engine. Doesn't work for 2 valve.
