It is well-packaged and easy to put together. It is strong and well-built and looks as if it should last. The instructions are easy to follow. The hex/allen key provided is a bit soft so make sure you have it firmly seated before applying pressure but it is ok for the handful of bolts you need to tighten. Overall I'm happy.

Great bed base at a great price. Easy to assemble, speedy delivery and sturdy. Very pleased.

It's a bedframe.. As long as it looks like the advert, is simple to build, has all the parts it needs and doesn't squeek when you're doing the nasty, then it's good... And this one's good... On a side note, the build quality is decent, and the finish is clean and simple... I couldn't fit a normal sized bedframe in my nook, so i went for this one... I like that the wooden slats have velcro preventing them from moving, and time will tell whether they start bowing or not; though that could possibly be due to my ever unsatiated lust for food!! The extra space underneath is good to store small things or items you want to put away for the season.. The gap is not the largest so if you have something under the bed that's just out of reach, and you have a step sibling, I'd advise you not to try and get it... But it's big enough, considering the frame is designed not to be as high as normal beds... Perfect for hobbits like myself, so another plus there. The mark down is due to build tolerances. Whilst very sturdy, it doesn't line up completely flush where the perpendicular base frame panels meet. This could be due to some of the screw holes being a few mm off centre. Most people wouldn't notice, but if I'm writing a review, I have to be a little picky! So there you have it... If you're after a well built platform bedframe, you like simple design, and have no step siblings, then this is the perfect choice..

great buy - easy to assemble, sturdy. We have a small box room and this is the perfect small double base meaning we don't loose any extra space as its the exact measurements for a small double mattress. No headboard or sides adding extra width/length. Also the cheapest price online as this is much more expensive on other sites. Just had to wait a bit longer for delivery! was 100% worth it.

I had a space in the bedroom that was just big enough for a double mattress, but too small for a bulky wooden frame. This is perfect when every inch counts, and there's plenty of space underneath for storage. I've had it for a few months now, and no creaks or other faults have developed. It's sturdy, easy to build and had broad wooden slats to support the mattress. The whole package is quiet heavy, but the pieces are light enough to carry upstairs easily, and I assembled it without any help.

I'm a heavy person and at the beginning was a bit dubious but so far so good. Been using it for 3 weeks. I do have a heavy mattress as well so it is very sturdy. For me it was easy to assemble, did it myself and it took me around 25-30 minutes. I do miss a headboard but I was looking for a simple look, I will just compliment with very nice cushions.

Got this for a very small double room. It fits in perfect. Nice and sturdy and looks great
