Case Logic PDVS-4 5-7-Inch In-Car DVD Player Case -Black

I am not easily impressed by simple products but this case is an exception. The bag is designed for attaching a portable DVD player to the back of a seat in a car. It would work well for that although I ordered it to store a 5" GPS unit, the suction-cup dash mount and the auto power cord when not in use.The case comes with two zippered areas, one, apparently for the DVD player and the other for cords and possibly a sandwich. The outsides are slightly padded but not enough to the DVD player to probably survive from a drop on concrete.Except for being a little too large for my purpose, this case was exactly what I needed to store and transport my GPS and accessories. One of the two straps designed for mounting a DVD player to the back of car seats will work to sling the case over my shoulder should I prefer to do that rather than carry it by the strap/handle which is another of its features. It also had a Velcro strap inside to attach something and detailed instructions (in eight languages) for mounting your DVD.This is a great case and an even greater value. I enthusiastically recommend it for GPSs and for attaching a portable DVD player to the back of a vehicle seat, either one, or between two bucket seats on either side of a center console.Just bear in mind that this case does not offer very much foam padding to protect whatever you intend to keep inside, and it is not waterproof . ( A peanut butter and jelly sandwich will likely get soggy in a downpour.)

I really love his product - I wanted to get them for some time and was very happy to see that Amazon had them and at a very reasonable price!!I would definitely recommend this product to any family member or friend that was looking for one.The thing that I did not like was the fact that the first order I placed got lost in the ether so had to reorder them. When I got the first box it was crumpled and the second box was fine...I got both boxes within 10 - 15 minutes of each other. I did accept them both because I wasn't sure if the first box I got - the crumpled one had damaged the products...but now I have to incur the expense of returning the second (or first - not sure) to Amazon which I definitely do not like to have an additional expense.....LJ

I have purchased this bag for my Galaxy Tab tablet (not for a DVD player), and I am very happy with it. It is thick and solid, providing excellent protection for portable electronics. While it is too small for a laptop or an iPad, it can conveniently fit up to three or four smaller devices, such as for example Galaxy Tab, Nook, Kindle, cell phone, tricoder, and small phaser. The bag is very light, specifically, 7.5" including the belt. (The spec indicates that its weight is 11", but in reality it is lighter; I have checked using postal scales.) Also, it is reasonably nice-looking (for both men and women) and does project an overall "geeky" image. The only key drawback is absence of any small pockets, e.g. for a wallet or a pen. It has only two sections: the main section and one large pocket.

I'm very happy with this case. I have a 7" Dynex portable DVD player which fits in the case with room to spare. I can also easily fit a small DVD/CD portfolio, chargers, and the straps without stretching the case beyond its limits. For longer trips, I plan on using the straps and case to hang the DVD player between the two front seats of the car. It is easy to set up and provides an unobstructed view of the screen from all angles in the back seat. My old case (a Mainstay purchased about 7 years ago) was much bulker without the benefit being able to fit more inside, and it also hung tilted so that it was not easy to see from the side seats. I was pleasantly surprised to see this one work out so well.

Very happy with this purchase as is everyone else who has ever rode in the car with my daughter when she does not have her DVD player!! I hang it up inbetween my two seats and it works great. My only two complaints would be it kind of sways and I wish there was a hole to plug it in through the side of the case. The swaying was fixed with a little rigging. And the plug thing was not huge it just sits crooked in the thing while it charges. This is very generic case and appears to work with many different brands. Would recommend or purchase again

We won a DVD player at a casino but we wanted to protect it in some sort of case. I got worn out running to different stores and couldn't find what I needed. I found this through Amazon.com, to protect our prize. It's just right! I even ordered a DVD player case for my niece & nephew who have 2 little ones and travel with a DVD player to keep the kids entertained on long drives. They love the case because it protects the player and is adjustable to accommodate the car or van.
