Q: Is this work for 60Hz tv

I use 220 volts at 50 Hz no problem. I believe it can accommodate 60 Hz. It is pure sine wave so you should get a clean output.

Q: Is this 50hz output, or 60hz output? (the actual output, not what you've plugged into it and gotten away with)

This is 50Hz but its not pure sine wave. Hence not suitable for electronic devices eg: Fridge, TV, ect... This will only suitable for lights & its not capable to handle the load as it mentioned. you can use for loads up to 60% of its rated power out put.

Q: Can I use this to run a 220v 1hp motor from a 12v power source?

No you cant. its not pure sine wave. Voltage variations are there. it will raise up to 300V. hence not suitable. Only recommended for lights.

Q: what you neglect to mention is the cycles HZ, this is important?
