This is An Extremely Rare Collectible From An Oscar Winning Movie!!
Broomhilda is part of the action figure collection from Quentin Tarentino's movie "Django Unchained." The movie has received five Golden Globe nominations including Best Picture and Best Director and won the Oscar for Best Screenplay. All the action figures are rare collectibles with less than a 1000 made because the controversy surrounding them forced the manufacturer to quit making them. The Broomhilda, Steven and Django action figures are considered the most controversial because they are slave characters. Less than a 100 of the Broomhildas were made. These action figures are well done. Broomhilda is a good likeness of Kerry Washington, and the clothes have details. They are not designed for children. They are for collectors.

Bought this and the rest of them at a really good price. But mostly wanted to try and get the actress to sign it. I got her last week. I can't imagine what this figure is worth now that it's signed by Kerry Washington it might be the only one in existence

Not bad, could use more features
I was pleased to find that this action figure portrays the original actress fairly well as far as costume and face goes, but I was disappointed in the lack of authentic Real Scars(tm) with bleeding action. Also, Amazon is not yet stocking the Hot Box playset, without which my Django Unchained collection is woefully incomplete.

Grrrrrr!
The company that manufactured these toys stop producing them because of (I'm sure old people) SO! Now folks are selling them for outrageous prices! $400...$900..$1,700!! UGH!! I wanted a Steve action dolly thingy!

Thought this was a sick joke!
I am stunned. I saw a reference to these "action figures" and, considering the outrageousness of such a thing, along with the phony looking boxes, figured this was a parody by The Onion or some such. I cannot imagine the perverse mind that would consider this a good idea. I don't know if 0 stars is an option. I'd go for minus zero if I could.[I see I cannot post this with zero stars, so I'll check one for the opportunity to express my dismay.]

This is a toy based on a movie, duh
This is an action figure based on a character Kerry Washington played in the movie Django Unchained. People on here calling it racist and the like, are ignorant and looking for reasons to promote hatred and stupidity. If fans of this film want to collect memorabilia and action figures based off of a movie they enjoyed, it is a far stretch to say that the makers of this movie are attempting to make money off of slavery by selling action figures based on the film. They are in fact trying to make money off of people buying into their merchandise. There is nothing racist about making a toy based off of a character from a movie. Racism is people on here implying that this was racially motivated to make money off of slavery.Side note, no one is posting negative reviews for Leonardo DiCaprio's action figure Calvin Candie. Some how it is racist to make a figure based on a character in a movie who played a slave, but no one has a problem with them making an action figure based on a bigot, abusive slave owner? It's a movie people, and these are toys based on the movie. Nothing more. Tarantino is a nerd, he has made action figure lines based off of a few of his movies now, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Death Proof. These Django Unchained figures are done in the Classic MEGO style from the 1970's as a nod to the point in time of the genre this movie is paying homage to...DUH!

Not a good idea
Ok, for those of you who actually do NOT find these "toys" offensive, consider this: little Jewish action figures with miniature gas chambers to put them in. How does that grab you? Some things are just plain unnecessary, this is one of them. Oh, loved the movie by-the-way.
