ChiaoGoo Twist Shorties Set, 2" & 3" (5 & 8 cm) [S], US 4-8 (3.5-5 mm)

This has quickly become my favorite set of knitting needles. They are a pleasure to work with - high quality. I love the shorter needles which was the reason for my purchase. So much easier, for me, than 5-inch needles. It really has two cases - an outer zippered case and the heavy material case which holds the actual needles and is placed in the other case. Among the included tools is a connector piece if you wish to join two cables - giving many more choices for lengths of cables. The entire size is so small is's easy to travel with.

Amazing product. The smooth sliding motion of stitch after stitch through any of my yarns. No catching, no untwisting just perfection. Calming reassurance Chiaogoo has my back from project to project.

These have changed my knitting game for the better. I love having this set. Only thing I would change is I would add more cables with them. I use the tips with all my larger cables.I have all three size sets because I love how well made they are . They are very easy to use . The cables are awesome and the tips of the needles are sharp enough to pick up my stitches easily. Very beautiful convenient size to carry with you.

Chiaogoo needles are the best. Stainless steel, sharp tips, seamless joins and smooth pliable cables - everything you want in interchangeable needles. The tips sizes are nice for most any project, including small circumferences like sleeves. The availability of so many cord sizes make this an extremely versatile product. The pocket is big enough to hold small mint tins, which are perfect for storing your knitting notions.

I used this set while traveling to several countries in Asia and Africa and it mostly worked well. Going through security I had them in a separate bag so it was clear I wasn’t trying to hide them which I think helped. Airports in Sri Lanka and India were about to confiscate them until I knit with them for the security officers, who called in supervisors to watch and make sure they weren’t weapons. In Namibia all bets were off, they said I could check my carry on or they would confiscate the whole set and they looked disgusted when I tried to knit for them. I think there’s a huge variety in what airports tolerate and even what airport employees tolerate, especially once you’re outside of Europe and the US. Otherwise the bag they come in doesn’t hold the needles in place that well and I usually open it up to find the needles in a pile and have to time to figure out what size each tiny needle is. But for a lightweight travel option that allows you to make the most of yarn you find on the road they can’t be beat, especially for making hats. They did unscrew as I knit and need to be retightened often, but most adjustable needles I’ve had do this as well. They’re very comfortable to use and allow me to knit more quickly than bamboo needles.

I was so excited to get my second shorties set. I purchased the US 0-3 set a while ago a!t, so I went back for the next sized needles, US 4-8. This was a game changer for me for sweater sleeves, hats and other small circumference items. Try them
