Great printer.
I absolutely live my printer. I like that is saves everything I scan to a separate file.

Not worth it
Keeps getting paper jams. When it finally prints the quality is decent.

Paper jams continuously
I've had this printer for less than 16 months, during which it was lightly used. It suddenly has started jamming / shredding the paper every time it attempts to pull a sheet in. I've tried the maintenance roller cleaning multiple times, once with Canon Customer Support on the phone. To no avail. Customer Support says it's out of the 1 year warranty period so my only recourse is to scrap it & buy a new (& hopefully) better model. Very poor quality for a Canon product.

A little difficult to get started.
The printer works well both printing and scanning over our local area network.It took some time and some tinkering to become fully operational but now it works well.The physical bulk of the printer is quite a bit larger than the printer it replaces. Check the dimensions before you buy it.

Mighty Mite
Timely delivery, easy unpack & setup. Had to dabble with the setup a bit to figure out how to enter the unique characters for the wi-fi passcode. (Took multiple strokes of the * or # characters) Couldn't find it in the manual or other help documentation. Have not tried out the finer points of color or photo printing as yet.

My husband was deciding between this printer and a laser jet. I think he'd prefer the laser jet, but I'm not sure why. Printer works fine.

I would not purchase again
The printer kept on going off line. . Then jammed all the time. I wanted to return it but irt was a few days past the r30 day return policy they would not take it back now im stuck with s printer that doesnt work
