Quality, quality, quality! Absolutely the best...
Forget the gimmicks-copper color, granite, green, etc. I’ve used and gotten rid of most of them. They worked great for the first few to several months. Then, the non-stick feature fades away. I’ve ended up having to soak them after each use, scrape them with a plastic spatula, and, then, scrub them with a nylon pad. This is a high quality pan (use it only for eggs). I have two other Calphalon pans that get daily use for everything else. Nothing sticks, nothing at all. Heat distribution is so great that I never have to use above a medium low temperature. Clean up is a breeze. They look new after years of daily use. I will never fall for a gimmick, again. You get what you pay for!

Great Pan
The coating, heat distribution, size and construction of this pan are great. I expect it will last for years. My other Calphalon pans have served me well. I thought about buying a cheaper version. Glad I didn't!

Why I love this pan and Calphalon...
When I first got this pan I thought it was a little heavy, but after using it...love it. I have been able to saute onions and potatoes to a flavorful brown, scramble eggs to perfection, cook pork chops and the pan still cleans up so easy. I also like the responsiveness to heat...it takes temp changes well..heating up and cooling off pretty fast. The shape is good with that nice little flair and deep enough to do a lot more than omelets. A plus is that my Calphalon lids fit - both the glass 10" and the stainless lid. At this price this pan is a bargain. And of course I love that free shipping and good customer service of Amazon.

Review downgraded to ONE STAR...
This pan is well worth the price that I paid for it. Cooks as expected and easy to clean. But, I had to give it only four stars because the non-stick surface is starting to lift off a bit after only eight months of gentle 2-3 times a week use. I had expected a longer life for the "Triple-coated" nonstick surface.UPDATE: December 17, 2009... ONE STAR for this cheap junk.Within a few weeks after I wrote the first review the non-stick surface of the pan was peeling so badly that my wife stopped using it and hid it in the back of the cabinet. I found it there this November, and remembering that it had a "Lifetime Warranty" I shipped it back, via UPS per their instructions, at a cost that equaled 1/3 of what I paid for the pan.Calphalon received my pan, which had been manufactured in Toledo, Ohio, on November 13, and today, December 17, I received a replacement pan back. Big problem though. The replacement pan I received back weighs about 30% less than the one I sent in, and the quality of workmanship is less than half the quality of the pan that I sent to them. So, the pan I received back is only worth about half the value of the pan that I sent in.It was no big surprise to me to read on the carton that the new pan came in, "Made In China." Do not buy the "new" Calphalon pots and pans because you will NOT get what you pay for.

It is a Keeper
Arrived six weeks ago. Yes, there are a large number of models and manufactures of frying pans. The question is how often do you use it, for what kinds of food , what kind of utensils are you using and finally what do you really expect from a frying pan? Honest answers before hand will likely keep you from being disappointed. This one cooks well for a variety of foods on my flat top electic stove. It cleans up nicely with a non-scratch pad inside and outside. Only one small concern: all previous pans of tis size fit flatly in my stainless sink. This one has a handle 1.5 inch longer. Oh well, I will just have to enjoy its other great atttributes.

Great omelet and egg pan
The slope of the sides of this pan enable the cook to easily cook any type of egg or omelet. The pan heats evenly over bottom surface and does not "gallop" to full heat. It is strictly an omelet/egg pay.

Great pan!
I'm new to Calphalon having used 'premium' frying pans in the past. Very impressed with the pan! I've been using for about three weeks, two to three times a week. The non-stick is a joy and super easy to clean (as expected). The best parts for me are: 1. the value - a substantially better value than what I've used before; and 2. the ability to "flip" food - the edge design and handle make it supper easy! Will buy another when this one wears out.

Chipped product
We received a damaged product, and in order to receive a refund we have to go through the hassle of finding a printer and taking to UPS store. Which defeats the point of buying something online in the first place. We hope we can simply be refunded, or sent a new undamaged one.

Bit fussy with care and use instructions. Hope it lasts.
Bit on the small side. I am being very careful with it. No dishwasher, no high heat which is annoying but it is what it is. I plan on only using it for eggs and so only needs low to medium heat.If anything goes wrong I will update

My cooking world was shaken
It is impossible to describe how much difference a good frying pan makes. This one is thick enough to retain heat well (as cast iron pans usually tend to do) and triple Teflon layer makes it versatile when it comes to cooking anything from eggs and bacon, to steak and salmon. As it is Teflon, you are bound to invest a bit into Nylon kitchen utensils to avoid scratching and peeling of this beauty!
