Velbon 379801 Spare Shoe QB-62 QRA-5 System, Compatible with DIN Standards, Shoe Plate, Aluminum

Purchased my Velbon tripod in Japan, and love the quick mount. Tripod came with two. Ordered a third so all my big lenses will have quick mounts.

This is a great replacement quick release plate for the Velbon VS-443D (and presumably most Velbon tripod ball-heads - though I'd recommend you check). It fits very securely in the tripod head with no 'wobble' significantly reducing potential camera shake for long exposures / landscape / macro shots etc. The only (very minor) issue I have with it is that the plate itself is relatively long compared to some other systems which can stick out a bit when left on smaller cameras (such as, in my case, a Sony A7R ii) but it's not much of an issue - even if like me you tend to leave the plate on the camera when you're on the go. Overall, a fantastic little bit of replacement kit.

Wer bisher nur Cullmann Schnellwechselplatten kannte wird über die Qualität dieser Platte erfreut sein. Sie ist aus Metall, Oberseite gummiert und sehr solide gefertigt. Daher geht der Preis total in Ordnung. Es ist zudem mit meinem alten Cullmann Stativen kompatibel.
