I like that it works on common batteries, and is consistent and the portion sizes are very easily adjusted.I haven't been able to figure out how to turn it off now though, now that it is set, besides taking the batteries out. That could be an operator problem - me! I did not read the instructions super well before throwing them out.It was pretty straight forward and quick to set up. Overall, for the cost and shipping time, and purpose, I think it was a good buy. I only use this for my office beta fish/snail/ cory catfish on the weekends.

I got this for my betta when I went on vacation. The first one I got was broken and the seller replace immediately. When I got it set up to make sure it would work, I set it for the smallest portion possible. When it ran, it let out so much food. This would work great for a large tank with many fish, but not a 5 gallon betta tank.

Went on a week long vacation and needed automatic feeder. Did it’s job. You can set it to once or twice a day. If you are using flakes, they will stick to the sides of the feeder.

When everyone goes on spring break at the same time, what do you do?? Get this! It kept the fish alive while we were gone. We set up a webcam to check while we were gone, and you can see most of the fish in the top left corner eating off the auto feeder in the pic

I bought 2 of these and ran testing days before vacation to make sure they work. I taped up the holes to adjust the minimum amount of food. I use the tiny pellets for a beta, so yes sometimes too much food but better too much than not enough. Do a water change when you get home.

We bought this so we could go out of town for a couple of days and not have to worry about the fish. It comes with two different sized food containers, so you have options of how long it can last before filling it again. We’ll see soon if it can last for a full week.

Works good and does dispense during separate time intervals as it says. Everything works well, parts come apart and go back together simply for easy set up or refill. Both tumblers hold more than ample amounts of food, but be aware flake food likes to cling everywhere throughout the tumblers and may restrict how much food makes it to the tank.Have had mine in use now long enough to be confident that it will keep my fish fed while unsupervised.Update: have had for over a year and still does its job twice daily without issues.

The feeder does what it’s made to do and it gave me piece of mind that my tank friends were fed on a regular basis when we were on vacations.Some things I would change is:1. You can’t regulate what time the feedings happen, just that it’s every 12 or 24 hours.2. Though you can change the feeding potion size manually, it’s not super precise. Sometimes they get a lot, sometimes it’s less.3. It can make a mess on your tank topper if not positioned exactly rightOverall, I’ll still use it and recommend it!
