The Bad Guys in Do-You-Think-He-Saurus?!: Special Edition (The Bad Guys #7)

I’m a teacher and i bought these for my classroom. My 2nd grade students absolutely LOVE these books. They are never on the shelf. They are written in a comic book style- photos with short phrases and quotes that tell the story. It’s the classic bad guys who are horrible at being bad guys type of book. I also love that even my lower readers can still get meaning from the photos and my higher readers can catch the sarcasm and deeper level jokes and understandings so these span many ages!

My 6.5 year old son LOVES the Bad Guy books which has sparked a love of books for him. The only issue I have with these books is saying “unkind” words like dumb, stupid, sucks, etc but it was a great opportunity to teach him that he is going to hear unkind words like this all the time and it’s all how he reacts. We need to teach our children how to react in situations instead of running to tell a parent/teacher a book says stupid. Teaching them young will hopefully help as they get older. When I was young, they were BAD words and I would get in trouble if I said them but I didn’t understand why they were bad words. As I got older, I was more tempted to use those words because they were outlawed. Kids ask a million questions because they WANT to learn and it’s up to us adults to teach them why the world is the way it is without 100% sugarcoating it.

This whole series is silly, funny, and fun to read! My daughter and son love it. It has fart jokes which make them both die, so if you don’t want your kids hearing them it may not be a good fit. It’s very kid friendly and has an underline meaning of even those who make mistakes (“are bad”) can change. It’s super light hearted. The characters all shine with their own personalities.

my grandson hated reading and if not for one or two series like this, I pray to the writiing Gods that more of them are coming...

My 9 year old son struggles with reading, and it has been tough as there haven't been a lot of books at his level, that he enjoyed. We both love these books! They are funny (a bit crude) and have entertaining stories. It isn't high literature, but still gets him reading, willingly!

My boys are to old for these books but they love them, and I love to hear them laugh reading these silly story's. I do have to say that they have read these books multiple times for fun

The bad guy series is a really well thought out kids series that is very funny. My grandson loves this series as much as all other popular series books. The Bad Guys are easy to relate for a 10 year old boy. Very entertaining.

Great cheaper book with pictures too. My elementary school aged son loves this series. We always purchase the newest one as soon as it’s released and we’ve gifted them as well.

My 7-year old son LOVES these books! He’s read the whole series! If your child likes tame potty humor this series is a huge hit! It’s great for beginning chapter book readers - there’s a great mix of text and comic style illustrations and it’s achievable as a first ‘read on your own’ chapter book. We read these as a family because it’s fun to end the day with a good laugh together - now my 7 year old is re-reading them on his own!

My 7-year-old son loves it. He has read it dozens of times since it arrived - seriously. He still laughs at his favourite parts. He really likes this series and can't wait for the next title.

Daughter (5yrs) loves these books. Though she is always bothered by the non-resolved endings. Review... TO BE CONTINUTED!

My Grade 1 loves these books. He can follow the pictures enough to read on his own, or we can read together.

This is a super funny and awesome read for our son at bedtime.Be prepared to order the series.
