Pacific Legend Men's Parrots Beach Border Hawaiian Shirt

Great shirt of quality material and the colors really pop. Cost is par with satisfaction.

At last, an opportunity to buy Proud American made products. This shirt is a bargain at the price and delivery was fast. Buttons made of coconut shell, and colors bright enough to be seen from the surface of the moon. The material is quite thin, and will not give a guy the sweats as he's standing around after a day in the sun. Hangs open well, as it will be on me most of the time. Hawaiian shirts are meant to be loose, comfortable, breathable, either 100 % cotton, or silk, in my opinion. Also, I never tuck 'em in. The stitching is adequate, the plaquet behind the buttons and buttonholes is folded back about 4 inches and stitched down the edge to prevent raveling. Not really caped, but an attempt at gussets, that will be great if you're broad shouldered. As regards trueness of size, I'm 6'2" and an XL is OK now, but I've not washed it yet. If in doubt buy bigger and wash it hot. 100% cotton will shrink no matter what anybody says. Girls, this company has a bunch of ladies and kids stuff, to include some sun dresses, and things like saris. This is no Tommy Bahama, but it also isn't $150. I think I'll get that orange one next with the parrots. Strangely, no extra buttons were sewn to the inside bottom, but that's OK cause I've got a whole slew of these kinds of shirts and they are absolutely bristling with extra buttons.

This shirt is very colorful, a little "touristy" but I love the design. The two Pacific Legend shirts I ordered ran a little small and the cotton fabric shrank nearly one size down. I ordered another in a different pattern in XL which fit perfectly before washing, but after cold washing and low temp drying it is too small. I ordered this one in 2XL and it shrank down perfectly. I was very pleased to see that they do not need ironing (in my opinion) if tumble dried with a light load - a detail missing from the reviews I read.

I've always liked Hawaiian shirts but wasn't thrilled that so many are polyester or rayon/acrylic fabrics. When I noticed this was 100% cotton, AND it was made in Hawaii, I jumped at the chance. When it arrived, I thought the tag was fake or something because it was so smooth, I thought it had to be polyester, but I was wrong. It is actually cotton, but a nice fine weave that feels great. The colors really pop out at you, too. One thing that doesn't show up very well in photos is a pattern in the background that makes an understated look of careful design. It's a very nice, high quality shirt. Even the inside has an extra layer on the shoulders highlighted in the bright pattern. And they went so far as to line up the pattern on the shirt pocket to match the pattern on the shirt. That's really nice. I think I've got a new favorite shirt. The only way it could be better was if it came with a trip to Hawaii to pick it up!

I had the white shirt version of this shirt and got numerous nice comments when I wear it. So bought the blue one. It fits as expected. Shirt does wrinkle. I am an old man and think Hawaiian shirts are worn with a few wrinkles so I do not iron it. Wife says the blue on this shirt makes my eyes "pop". However, she also says they pop with a red shirt (don't figure). The pattern goes all the way around (front and back). The front left and right panels are aligned so the button front has matching print across the opening. The front shirt packet also has pattern matching. With coconut buttons this makes for a "nice Aloha shirt". You get, you enjoy. Aloha!

My 16 year old grandson loves this shirt! It's colorful, well made and l love that it's made in Hawaii!

Pacific Legend is my favorite brand of Hawaiian shirts, and this is one of the prettiest and most colorful ones they have. Definitely one of my favorite shirts. I only wear shirts that are made from 100% natural fibers, and 100% cotton is always the best. The fit is always good for me, and I don’t notice any shrinkage in the wash. But do wash them in cold water and cool tumble dry. I’m not concerned about warmth in a shirt like this, I want something that will keep me cool in Texas summers, and 100% cotton does that. In a good 100% cotton shirt like this, weight is not really something you notice. Even before you wash the shirt the first time, Pacific Legend shirts are comfortable out of the shrink wrap. And they only get better once they’re washed. Of course, the print quality is top notch. That’s part of why I’m buying Pacific Legend, and I have dozens of different prints from them.
