I've been using this lipstick for years because the quality is high - it's moisturizing, has no weird taste, and washes off easily - and the color is perfect for me. In fact, I was delighted to find it on Amazon because my local sources quit carrying this color.

I’m a fair-skinned Asian with dark brown hair, and Mineral Fusion’s Burst color is my favorite color to wear day or night. It’s a natural salmon/warm pink thrat’s just enough color without being too much color. It can be worn without lipliner, and has just enough thick/creamy texture for good coverage. If your lips have a slightly darker shade to them, this color also balances well against that too. I like it in summer as well as winter months. You do have to be careful about ordering this online in hot summer months, because it can arrived softened which makes the lipstick want to fall off the base as soon as you apply it. Try cooling it off first. I’ve also sometimes found Mineral Fusion lipsticks at Whole Foods, although the Burst color is usually not in stock in stores. I really like that it’s fragrance free and paraben free, and the seed oils and cocoa butter make it moisturizing to reapply throughout the day.

This lipstick gives intense, beautiful pigment. "Burst" is a neutral color for fair skin. I'm 36, Caucasian, with fair skin. I'm fascinated with the formulation - it isn't dry but it does not have a lot of "slip" or gloss; it is almost like a stain but easier to apply. For a daytime look, I like to press the lipstick lightly to my lips in a few spots to get some color. For drama, I apply it with more pressure like a typical lipstick. For gloss/shine, I put a little Aquaphor or lip balm over the top. I also purchased the lipstick in "Mystery" which is super dark and intense. A little goes a long way and I use a light touch unless I want to go full-on vamp. "Burst" is a more flexible shade; I save "Mystery" for provocative moods. Good product; no problems with shipping. I am likely to buy other shades.
