Hillman 57107 4-Inch Long Straight Combination Spindle with Hole, 4-Pack , Gray

My glass doorknob stripped over time and kept falling off one side. I tried replacements without holes and those didn't work. Handle kept falling off. Purchased these, lined up holes with screws and whallah! No more door handles falling off. My only complaint is they seem kinda expensive for a small piece of metal but then again, its cheaper than replacing an entire door and jam...

Old glass door knobs used to fall off (100yr old house), bought new look-alike knobs with new rods, they worked well for about a month, saw these spindles, decided to try, they work to keep the knobs from falling off,- well, sort of anyway. The screw holes in the knobs are wider than the screw holes in the spindles so the doorknob wiggles a little.. spindle holes need to be a bit larger so the knob screws will fit both. And previous reviews mentioned needing washers between knob and door, they are correct, not sure what size washer it is, have to take knob to find out. Other than the screw hole size, great product, great idea.

This is a great product but unfortunately it is longer than I need for my door. I was hoping it would fit but my door is just a bit too thin.

This was supposed to be a set of 4 but only 3 were sent. They were just in the shipping bag, no packaging or tags/stickers.

If your door knob needs replacement most of packages with knobs come with only a 3 1/2” brass spindle which can be too short and easily bends — very limp brass.The extra 1/2” can make a difference and a good solid steel shaft will last.

The spindles look like they should work but in the description of this item " Full assortment also includes slotted set screws and oval-head machine screws" there is only spindles in package.

My door knobs were constantly falling off and after some research I found these. I purchased the accompanying screws. No more door knobs falling off! Yay! Just be sure to pick up some washers to fit the knobs on securely because you may have some extra space that makes the knob wobbly.

It works right size length for standard width door with extra to spare
