Zing Marshmallow Fun Bow and Mallow - Classic - Red and Blue,Outdoor - indoor play, perfect gift for boys and girls age 6 years and up

This is a well made toy and so far has been a big hit with my kids. I bought this for the older one and he loves it! It shoots about 20 feet with pretty good acuracy. Prior to this he had one that you had to blow into to shoot the marshmallows but he likes this one much better. If your marshmallows are getting stuck try a little powdered sugar in the barrel and they will not stick. It is definitely an outside toy. If you buy one make sure to stock up on 'ammo' since they can go through it pretty quickly and the marshmallows are not reusable. The dog really loves it because he gobbled up the shot marshmallows although we moved him away from the line of fair after he ate a couple of them. I wouldn't recommend this for small kids because the bow may be difficult for them to pull back and there are some small parts. For my younger ones I bought the marshmallow guns. It's a fun, safe way to work off some energy. I ordered directly from Amazon and received it quicker than expected. It was well packaged and in perfect condition when it arrived. I would recommend this product.

Bought 2 of these for Christmas. One for my 8 year old nephew and one for me so we could battle. After finding out it's not marshmellow, it's marshmallow from the Althaea officinalis plant, also known as the marshmallow plant, I realized none of that matter to my 8 year old nephew, he just wanted to shoot me.So the toy. It shoots really well, and sometimes really far - 20-25 feet. And sometimes 2 would get caught in the chamber and barely go 2 feet. Surprisingly, you can be pretty accurate with aiming, well, it's some luck and some aiming.Note: It's also good to keep everything as dry as possible. When moisture gets on the marshmallow, they become very sticky. That sticky then gums up the shooter and won't let the ammunition properly chamber. The good news, it's really easy to clean so it's not a "disposable" toy.

It's fun when it works. It's finicky. We purchased 1 for each of our 3 kids (ages 11 & 12) for Christmas (2 girls, 1 boy). One piece broke taking it out of the box to assemble it. We managed to finagle it enough to make it work but it takes a little patience to do so. They jam easily, even using the mini marshmallows, so make sure to not jam pack them in there. Also, just my own personal tid bit, I recommended not letting them use it while playing hide and seek at night after the dew has fallen. Dew + marshmallows= a little bit sticky...even though it made a lot of fun! Hope this helps :)

We bought this Bow and Mallow for a Disney Brave themed birthday party. We hoped to have some faced paced shooting action. Instead, we experience a ton of frustration. We tried fresh and stale marshmallows and neither were working. They continued to get stuck and not release for either the adults or the kids using the bow. We would pull it apart and remove the squashed marshmallow only to fire 2 or 3 and then stuck again! Huge frustration. The problem is that my kids just want it to work and they really don't want to return it. It is so much fun when it does work. Our best solution so far is to "roll" stale marshmallow and load them like little pellets. We all wish it worked as consistently as the video shows on the site. It is the reason we ordered this toy.

I ordered this for my 5 yr. old nephew and he loved it! I thought it was a great toy for the price and it is a nice, solid toy. Based on other reviews, we only loaded the smaller of the mini marshmallows out of the bag and it worked great! It does, however, sometimes shoot two marshmallows out instead of one, but the only other problem that we had with it was that E kept eating the marshmallows off the ground after he shot them.Great gift for a child or an adult!

Super fun, got 2 for the grandkids. Should have gotten three (one for parts)They do not sell parts, one lost the seal that the marshmallow magazine fits in within two daysIt will not function without this small rubber seal.Make sure the Marshmallows are dry or they will jam. Get a long brush because once a wet Marshmallow is in the tube shooting is over. Lots of soap, water and that brush is needed to clean and then dry the tube. I used a shotgun cleaning brush.Once the kids (3 years and up) learn how it works, they can load it them selves. Which makes it more fun for you too!

We got a marshmallow shooting gun (made by the same company) for my 6 year old's birthday. He loved it, and was so excited to try it. It worked a couple of times before breaking, so we returned it. This Christmas, he told Santa that all he wanted was this bow and mallow. I checked the reviews and saw that they appeared to be better for this toy vs. the gun, so we went ahead and got it for him. After taking it out of the box, it worked exactly ZERO times. Just wouldn't shoot the marshmallows. There is a terrible design flaw with these toys, and I, and my son, are terribly disappointed. I definitely would not recommend ANY of the products from this company.

If I could give 100 stars, I would!! We purchased this for our 4 year old on her birthday for a "Brave" themed party. We bought 2 so that our 2 year old daughter would have one too. Not only did they LOVE these easy to use bow and arrows filed with their favorite treats, but after about 10 minutes, my parents (grandma and grandpa), and my husband somehow ended up playing with them, and a war of epic marshmallowy proportions broke out!!I haven't seen my parents laugh so hard! My mom pelted my husband in the lip with a marshmallow, and he in turn pegged her in the noggin!! After the bag of mini marshmallows came to an inevitable demise, my parents very seriously told us EXACTLY what they wanted for Christmas this year! :-)Buy a $1.00 bag of mini allows at Target, and enjoy hours of fun and stomach pains from laughing!!If you give each each mallow a slight squeeze in the middle when you load it, they don't get stuck ever... fyi.My kids still LOVE their bow and arrow marshmallow launcher months later, and have experienced no injuries whatsoever.Buy it!!

Bought 2 and the kids are going through marshmallows like crazy. Going camping this weekend and have no idea how many bags we are going to need. Recommended item as the marshmallows don't hurt if you get hit and they fly like crazy...

Such a great item, we bought this for our daughter as her sister has a Nerf gun and she couldn't get the hang of them to shoot back :). Super easy to use and fun for everyone. Marshmallows go quite far occasionally you get two or three being fired at the same time. My daughter loves it and my other daughter and my brother now both want one as well. The only downside is finding the marshmallows all over the place :).
