A & E HAND TOOLS - Small Quick Switch Pliers W/Adj Stop & Tip Kit (1421)

Purchased for aviation maintenance and it has held up better than the company provided tool. It does what it's supposed to do and hasn't failed me yet. My only minor complaint is that switching back and forth from (squeeze to separate) and (squeeze to bring together) is a bit poor and feels like you broke it at first.. but you just have to squeeze it a few times and it will align itself. Recommended.

This is a great tool, but the way you change the end and the packaging...terrible. I knew I would lose something the way it came and sure enough....

I'm so glad I found this tool! Most of the retaining clip pliers I have seen are made in China. I wanted to find one that is made in USA, and could also work with very tiny retaining rings. This one is perfect! It also comes with additional tips to handle just about any retaining ring.

Excellent overall. Covers many applications in one small tool. I use one of these at work (Heavy Equipment) and keep another at home. I believe Lang ( the Manufacturer of this tool) is the manufacturer of the identical channel lock branded item. So heck prices on both before you buy.

Let's just Say that This Tool Sits On The Toolbox And Never Gets Used. I always find myself grabbing for the other more standard snap ring pliers. Kinda a pain to switch over the pieces. Might work better for the at home mechanic but not great for work.

The only circlip pliers you'll ever need. Quality is outstanding.

レビューを見て少し不安でしたが切り替えも普通にできますし特に問題ありませんでした。ポーチが付いていないというレビューがありますがおそらく記載のポーチは交換用チップが入ったビニールのケースのことだと思います。選択の決め手はスナップリングプライヤーを作った元祖がLangな訳で一番ノウハウを持っているはずだからです。私の場合MTBのフロントサスペンションのオーバーホールなどで使いますが実際何の問題もなく使えます。何かで無理やり代用とするとリングを壊したり飛ばしてしまったりするので必要な方はやはり一つは持っていた方が良い工具です。

1421だと、インパクトドライバーのスリーブ（アンビル先端）内に残った、折れたビットを回収する際、スリーブのクリップを外す作業は、かなり楽です。刈払機の整備でも、1437ではギアヘッドのスナップリングは外せませんが、1421だと難無くできます。先端チップの販売もあれば、ありがたいですね。今のところ、折れ、曲がり、欠けはありませんが、長く使いたい工具です。

「合金スチール5組、色分け、交換可能なチップ、六角キーが便利なポーチに入っています。」とありますが、付いていません。
