good camera, good price, sketchy mounting
This camera is extremely easy to configure, if your local network (i.e. router) is configured for the 192.168.0.XXX network. If not, then you either have to have a spare router that you can configure for that network, or temporarily configure your router for that network. Fortunately, I already had my local network set for the 0.xxx network. I just connected the camera to my poe switch, and then connected to it using the pre-coded 192.168.0.123 address (So, first you'll want to check the devices connected to your router. If you are already using that address for another device, then turn that device off or change it's address, until you can change the pre-coded address in the camera to something different). After you're able to connect to the camera, you'll need to change the language, and then logon. On the first logon attempt it will have you install the software to allow you computer to view, and configure it. Then when that is accomplished, logon again and start setting it up the way you want it ... Pretty easy. The hard part came when I tried to mount it to the location that I wanted it (on the overhang above the front door). First off, the camera came with zero mounting hardware, except for the bracket, which was pre-attached to the camera, and has to be removed from the camera so that it can be attached to a wall, or ceiling, etc where you want to use it. The crazy thing is that instead of having a slot on the side/bottom of the camera for the ethernet connection pigtail that is attached to the camera, the pigtail dangles from the middle of the base. The only place for it to go is through the big hole in the middle of the mounting bracket, and the camera has to have that pigtail run through the hole in the bracket "before" you mount the bracket. Which means that you have to hold the camera up near the bracket while trying to mount the bracket. I found that to be an extremely poor design. The only way to mount this camera cleanly, is to fabricate a plate. or wood block, with proper holes and channels, and then mount the camera on that first (at you work bench), and then mount the entire assembly (base and camera) to the location where you are going to use it. They really need to redo the mounting assembly of this camera! However, after I was able to get it attached to the location where I wanted to use it, the camera worked like a charm. Picture is crystal clear, and ptz controls are flawless. After the aggravation of getting it mounted, the operation and picture quality of this camera was a huge relief. Right now I just have it sending me snap shots to email. I'm going to get a SD card for it, because it is not compatible with my current NVR. That is not unusual, because most cameras are not compatible with my NVR, anyway. This camera is well worth the price. Configuring it is easy. Picture is beautiful, at night the red led's work great, and PTZ pan and tilt operation is flawless. I took a star off for the mounting issues, but this camera is really very good.

Not the best image quality.
Ordered 4 different cameras to replace aging LAView cameras we have. I wanted to like this one, it was one of the few reasonably priced PTZ cameras. Unfortunately, fogging, running warm and image quality made me decide against keeping this one.The enclosure build quality is good.

Won't focus.
This camera needs some improvement. I found that the auto-focus function only seems to work at some focal lengths and not at others. The night vision is very poor quality (out of the 4 cameras I have looking outside this cameras night vision is the worst). This cameras auto focus problem just slowly keeps getting worse. I wish I had my money back.

Glad it's discontinued
My prior review was about the image rarely turning pink. Now when I move the cam with the ptz it drops the network connection a lot. Now I just use this as a fixed cam only. I will just use till it fails. Think I have had enough of chinese cams. I have some Samsung cams and they are very reliable, a lot more expensive though.

Poor Quality Camera
I have purchased several cameras from this manufacturer. This particular camera failed out of the box, providing no image. Getting support from the China manufacturer is difficult and cumbersome. Other camera's PTZ function is not compatible with Speco DVRs. I do not recommend products from this manufacturer.

How to enable audio ?
I managed to get video working but not audio. The UI says audio can be enabled and I see audio mentioned in the RTSP SDP but neither vlc or mpv plays the audio. Does this camera not have a microphone ?

Lasted 3 months, NO support available.
Bought two of these in March 2021, installed one and it worked rather well with a very good picture and good PTZ. Fast forward to early May and the installed camera is freaking out on the autofocus, constantly trying to focus and mostly not succeeding. I tried to contact the company and no joy, Amazon indicates it no longer exists anywhere in their system I was only able to find this opportunity to warn others by a Google search that brought me to this page. It would be a nice unit if there was any type of customer service, otherwise avoid like idiots that drive fast and pass on the right.
