Comfortable & works well for my needs
My CPAP was the greatest thing that happened to me when I received it approximately 7 years ago. However, I recently lost 130 lbs and the size of my neck reduced significantly. I think that's what used to help keep my jaw pushed up while I slept. Now that my huge neck is (thankfully) gone, my jaw/mouth has been falling open while I sleep, and my CPAP has not been working correctly.I have a nose pillow mask and I have been waking up several times each night with a mouth like the Sahara desert because the air was just pushing into my nose and out through my mouth, rendering the CPAP ineffective. I started feeling a lot more tired during the day and was getting notifications on my CPAP that I had a bad mask seal. It was suggested that I get a chin strap to help keep my jaw closed while I slept.I have to say, a lot of the reviews for the majority of the chin straps I have seen on Amazon have not been great. I took a chance on this one and am pleasantly surprised. The material is very lightweight and comfortable. I like the Y-shaped head strap because it keeps it in place all night. In fact, I don't think I would have been happy with some of the other ones I have seen because I feel like they would probably slide around and not be secure, especially since I am a somewhat restless side sleeper. It is adjustable on the side with Velcro but none of that rubs against my face or causes irritation. I was really worried about it feeling restrictive, but I didn't have to make it very tight in order to get it to work.I have been using this chin strap for about a week now and it seems to have solved my problem. It keeps my mouth closed and I'm no longer waking up several times throughout the night. I'm FINALLY getting restful sleep once again.

it works fairly well and is reasonably comfortable, but it is maybe a bit large for most people i have a very large head and still have to adjust this a bunch.

This works great and is comfortable.
I wish I didn't need this, but my cpap dries my mouth out because it drops open when I sleep. This prevents that, without making it impossible for me to open my mouth if I need to do so.

It's Okay.
In my search to find the perfect chin strap as a CPAP user with open mouth issues I tried this strap. Due to it's very lightweight construction, I tightened the strap as much as possible but still had leakage issues overnight. My CPAP is set at 15 according to my prescription needs which is a higher than the average.The level of CPAP pressure coupled with the lightweight construction failed to keep my mouth closed overnight. Was awakened twice due to leakage and dry mouth. Some stretching of the strap material occurred overnight, along the chin strap sides, due to the tightness level and lightweight construction.On some positive notes, there was NO strong chemical smell from this strap. Trust me you will know the smell when you encounter it from other straps. The strap also remained in place all night without shifting from top of the head.If you are on low setting for CPAP therapy or using this strap as a anti snore device device then the strap may work for you but lightweight construction along the sides will be prone to overnight stretching.

It works for me
If you use a CPAP machine and are awakened with dry mouth, this the solution for you. I got a new CPAP machine and was awakened in the middle of the night with a mouth as dry as the Sahara. It was recommended that I try a chin strap. I brought this and it had made a HUGE difference.The strap is lightweight and easy to put on. It is not rough or irritating. It fits comfortably under the CPAP mask. Most importantly, it stays in place. I am able to wear my mask through the night. The strap does not leave any marks on face in the morning. I highly recommend.

Stretches after one week
The item works well as described, however after a week of use it’s already stretching noticeably, and I’m having to continue to tighten it. At this rate, it’ll be useless in a few weeks. Unfortunately, I’m having to return it because of this. I saw other reviews saying the same thing, but I hoped it wouldn’t be that way for me.

I would probably get another one in time
This one seems to work better than the other one I purchased. It does tend to slip up over my chin once in a while when I turn to my side. I've only had the opportunity to wear it 2 nights so far.
