Our car had been sitting idle for a good few months during lockdown and just when we were about to use it, it decided to not start for us.I was very hesitant to make this purchase as I couldn't quite comprehend how such a small device (and effectively a power pack) could jump start a car. Regardless, with such positive reviews and a good price point, I decided to give it a go. Hooking this up to the car's battery was a bit fiddly but this was largely because of the positioning of the car battery where the negative terminal was awkwardly positioned so it made it difficult to attach the jumper cable and get a good grip. This was the fiddly part. After managing to get a good enough grip, it was time to start the car (we own a 1.6L Ford Focus 2009).It worked the first time! I can't say for certain if this would work for your car and I assume part of whether or not it works depends on just how flat your battery is and whether or not your battery is in good health - but it certainly worked for us. Really happy with the purchase and I'm sure it'll come in handy in the future - definitely cheaper than calling someone out and good for when you don't have anyone to ask to jump-start your car.Oh, and yes, it does also charge your mobile devices.

amazing product very useful, no harm to get one

We had a flat battery after the car had been unused for a while. When the jump-starter arrived we were sceptical that something no bigger than a smart phone would be up to the job. It comes with a sturdy zip-up case, includes the starter cables and a multi-unit cable for charging other devices and itself. After fully charging it using a standard usb charger, we followed the instruction leaflet. The instructions are a slighty poor English translation of the original language on the other side of the leaflet but overall it was easy enough to understand and follow. You have to connect the starter cables to the jump starter unit: it has a special port at one end with a car icon on the little rubber flap. You press the start button on the unit for 3 seconds til the led goes green, attach the jump clamps to the car battery (red on + black on -) and turn the car engine on. First go, no spluttering from the engine the car started. It's astonishing to me something so little can work. It's so portable you can keep it in your glovebox, take it camping, use it as a portable battery pack for your digital devices. I bought it for a cheaper price than the one listed today but even at that price, I would say it's a worthwhile investment. I rarely have time to do product reviews but it did the job and was so easy to use that I felt a review was well deserved.

My car is only 6 yrs old but in the last 5 months the battery has died twice when i’m Miles from home and on my own. The garage haven’t found a problem so I needed peace of mind as I don’t want to feel vulnerable when I’m out and about.So going by the previous positive reviews of this item i feel more confident knowing I have one in the car and i’m hoping if I need it I’ll be fine. It arrived really quickly came in its own case which fits under the drivers seat for convenience, it didn’t take long to fully charge and the easy instructions means I feel ok to use on my own, which as a female solo driver is an absolute bonus.

Although not yet had the need to use this product I purchased this item as an assurance, as the previous day I had to get a neighbour to help jump start my car after the battery ran low (have since had car battery tested and all ok) but if this were to happen again I am sure this purchase will get me started in a jiffy. The unit is well built, compact and comes with the necessary high power jump leads (max peak current of 300Amps) and a multi USB cable for charging and or for charging other devices such as a phone or tablet and all comes in a sturdy carry case. I now carry this in the car should there be a need to jump start. The instruction card/User Manual comes in both English and Chinese and is very helpful. The unit comes with a 2 year guarantee and seems to have good support network. Claims to support jumping cars up to 2-2.5L (12V) engines. I could not say whether the claim of jumping the car at least 20 times is possible but given the acclimation and support offered it may well do, but I suppose all would depend on how the unit is used especially for charging other devices etc. All in all seems a very good product and purchase, certainly would recommend for small-medium sized cars.

Bought this like two years ago and finally got to use it yesterday. Really easy to use and worked great. Still had some charge in it after all that time, but I charged it fully before using, since I was thankfully at home.

Very lightweight, much better than those bulky battery chargers. Very powerful, quickly jumpstarts a car battery in a matter of minutes.

Have to my brother as a Christmas gift. He said, he loves it. Solid construction. Would recommend. If looking at these products keep in mind the type of weather you have, and get the most powerful one you can based on weather (i.e. if it’s cold get a more powerful one that can that has enough CCA)
