Da Rat -3 Pack Da Rat-Refill/Attachments-Fits Da Bird,Cat Catcher, Clarion Baton & Flying Frenzy Poles & Wands

We have a Da wand and change out the attachments frequently for our cat's enrichment. They love them all. That wand is Da bomb and is made so Da well. Since they like furry things, I thought these rats would be a fun diversion. I especially liked the idea that there are no tiny button eyes to swallow. We first put one on Da wand for a kitten that was having a vacation at our home to play with. He went positively feral. He chomped down on the rat and wouldn't stop growling at it. He got so wound up that his sides started heaving. It was hysterical! (See pics) Next, our two senior cats. Our female prefers Da attachments that fly and flutter like birds. Our male likes ground dwelling type hunts. Da rats are perfect for him. He plays rat on Da wand several times a week and never gets bored. He'll actually stand up and hop to grab it; no easy feat for a 15 or old. One bit of caution: put them up until you can play with your cats. They will make the whole thing disappear!

My one year old cat Archie is OBSESSED with this mouse attachment. I have to buy these about every other month since he tears them apart from how hard he plays with them. He loves to play fetch with the mouse (stick and all) and will do so for HOURS. Highly recommend this line of toys for anyone with active kitties who like to play. My only complaint is that the thread that comprises the body does shed like crazy as the mouse starts to fall apart from strenuous play.

Fits with existing play wands. The rat is just the right size that the cats love. Very realistic.

Pros - Both cats so enjoy Da Rat, but our male cat loves Da Rat. My male cat won't stop thinking about it. We have to play with him and the rat multiple times a day. Neither cat gets tired of it after using it 3 months. But they are both pretty obsessed with it. I love how both cats get lots of exercise chasing it around on the fishing pole we have and are not bored! Con's - My cat won't stop thinking about it. He will tire himself out until he is panting, so we have to hide it from him to stop playing or he might just drop dead. He nags us all the time to play. We can't leave him alone with it or he will eat it. We must hide it all the time, unlike all the other toys they get tired of. He did eat it one time and threw it up, so I'm careful not to accidentally leave it out.

My cat loves this cat toy because it is quite life like. I have attached it to a pole to play with her, which makes her go bananas. I also have given her toy on its own, and she loves to bat it around. It is also made of quality natural materials.

My cat’s favorite toy and will continue to buy again and again! We got a 3-pack and use one on a string toy, and the other two she can play with on her own. She carries them around from room to room and keeps herself entertained for so much longer than any other toy (even the ones infused with catnip/silvervine)! Definitely is best on non-carpeted floors so your kitties can bat it around. However, do watch your kitty if they play aggressively and put it away when you can’t supervise since ours shred one up after about a week of non-stop play which didn’t stop her and she got covered in the toy’s “fur”. It is durable, but if you have an avid hunter, they will find a way to tear any toys apart, and the size and feel of this toy triggers their hunting instincts until it is destroyed (which is exactly why we bought it).
