The Large fits perfectly on my hound's head. He is a 60 lb coonhound if anyone is looking and needs another reference for their breed. His ears still pop out of the bottom. I know he can still hear with it. Will be testing it out during the next storm or fireworks day. But as unhappy and humiliated as he felt. He didn't really try to take it off. Hopefully my trust in the reviews will prove factual. I know its not completely soundproof. But hoping it will dull the loud cracks of sound enough so its easier to calm him down.

Helps my golden retriever tolerate being blown dry after her bath. This thing is a lifesaver. Calms her immediately. Really easy to slip on and fits her well. Not too tight and not so loose that she could slip it off with her paws. Stretches right over her head and she doesn't mind it. She just relaxes right away. Then we just throw it in our laundry. It's durable and good quality.

My poor girl had surgery for an ear hematoma, so I needed something to hold her ears down so she couldn't flap. I got a size large which fit great for my 55 pound lab mix.I found the happy hoodie was fairly easy to fall down to her neck or just get off completely after Ruby got used to it.We started wrapping her ears first with the stretchy self adhesive banages, then put the happy hoodie over that. Worked like a charm!You can't go wrong with the price either. I bought two right away so I could switch off when one got dirty.I did try a couple other brands/hoodies. I ended up returning the others because they didnt work out as well as Happy Hoodie did.

Have everything ready to go - if you're brushing or clipping nails or shaving - make sure anything with batteries is charged. Our old kitty doesn't mind the clippers, but she's developed knots on her belly and absolutely hates the clippers near her belly- so we needed help without taking her to the vet to be sedated. If you need glasses and a headlamp, have those ready too.Turn it inside out so the tag and seam aren't an irritation to their ears! Calmly slip it over the head, position over the ears, get the cat into position, limit the working time to 1-2 minutes, then calmly remove the hoodie and do lots of head petting etc if kitty sticks around.Don't try to do everything in one go. This is a great TOOL- just LIMIT the time and be done before kitty decides THEY are done. Used it 3 times now without kitty resentment. Excellent price. Nice quality (just turn it inside out)- snug without any danger of restricting breathing. Love it!

Sent back because my GSD got it off pretty quickly. It is very very tight on her big ol head despite being size L or XL. It would have likely worked had she not been so stressed about having it on. She wouldn’t have stopped trying to get it off. Seemed to be very hot too but she looked very cute and if your dog is smaller I bet it would work better. I can’t find a pic of her in it so I’ll add one of her in her child sized balaclava which also didn’t work. Oh I found the pics! Seller is legit. Got refund

This hoodie is great for my big cat, she is big but her head is small and big breeds of cats still work for the small size. This helps her when she is getting dried off after a bath and calms her a bit. It’s easy for them to take off but if they’re in the moment she doesn’t really want to take it off! The hoodie is super comfy and does not choke them or restrict blood flow and is not tight but stays on. It has stretchy material that ensures custom fitting.

Very soft fabric nice on the face and snug but no pressure applied to dogs head or neck. So easy to slip over his head with no fighting. No major storms but so far so good. If your fur baby needs an extra hug you can’t beat the quality and price of this garment!

It definitely helped my Cersei Lou to be calmer during the thunderstorms. For the most part, it stays in place if I have it almost to her eyes. We also use medication so the combination seemed effective. Meds alone do not get her to fall asleep so I believe its the combination
