These are original replacement heads
The heads are fine, but the real kudos go to the Rotadent electronic unit itself. You can only purchase this from a dentist and not all dentists sell it. It is $150. It has a replacement and I don't know what the features or price are of the replacement. Since using it my dentist has asked me to come once a year for cleanings instead of twice and it's hard for him to tell (without looking up close) if the hygienist has cleaned my teeth yet. It is rechargeable and the battery lasts over 5 years and then you need to get a new unit. The charge lasts about 2 weeks if used normally every day. I'm on my second of the original design.

Can't live without my Rotadent
I've been using a Rotadent electric toothbrush since 1985 and I'm only on the second one. It polishes my teeth and makes them feel so clean. I don't care what they say about rotary brushes compared to vibrating style brushes I love the Rotadent. That being said, you do have to buy refills for the heads. They are not cheap but they do last a long time so it's worth it. I hope they don't discontinue these refills because that means another electric tooth brush and they sure aren't cheap and my Rotadent just keeps going and going just like new.

Best Toothbrush on The Market!
My dentist recommended this toothbrush several years ago for my gum challenges. The bristles are so very soft, like a paint brush, but clean so well. The brush unit holds a charge for weeks and lasts forever. When my first one finally wore out (wouldn't hold a charge anymore) they sent me a new one! I highly recommend. Worth the price if you want to keep your teeth until you die! I'm not a fan of dentures or implants!!

Brush heads leaking gray substance!
Until recently, I would give the Classic Rotadent brush heads a 4 star review. They've always cleaned my teeth well since I've been using them for the past 4 or 5 years. However, the last brush heads I bought have been leaking a gray substance from the inside of the brush head, which is disturbing! I haven't read any other reviews about this problem. I don't leave the brush heads on my toothbrush base. I brush and then immediately remove the brush from the base. So I'm not sure what's causing the gray substance to leak from the brush head. This has happened with two different brush heads now that I purchased from different sellers on Amazon. Maybe I need to contact Zila about it! I'd be interested to know if this has happened to anyone else.

Works as it should
Replaced our very old heads with this and works like a charm again, very powerful and works just as it should. These heads deteriorate over time and begin to slip and bind, but a new one did the trick. Arrived right on schedule as well.

Dentists love it
I have been using this classic Rotadent for well over a decade. Rotadent has invented one of the best electronic toothbrush out there. Rotadent brush heads clean better than other brands, I've tried others. After my old brush heads starting wearing out, I needed to buy new ones. These pointed tips clean in between the teeth really well, I use the flat heads to clean and polish after. I am currently wearing braces, so they get in between where I need the extra cleaning. When I visit my dentists and orthodontist, they are so amazed how very clean my teeth are compared to others who also have braces. I am giving it four stars because the replacement brush heads are expensive and I did not get what was pictured. For the price I paid, I appreciated that it came in a pair and for some odd reason, the brush heads I received were more blunt and flat at the tip. I am very thankful that this classic model is still available, it works just as wonderful as it did when I first got it.

Rotadent Replacement Heads
This product came to me so fast I didn't expect it for another week. I have used the Rotadent Tooth Brush for 6 or 7 years and am very impressed with it's cleaning power. Used to be you could only buy replacements and accessories through the participating Dentist. Thank Goodness we don't have to do that anymore. We can Amazon.com them and get them in 48 hours! These replacement brushes are perfect.

Full battery power strips the gears
I have gone through about 8 of these EXPENSIVE brush heads on my Rotadent since 6/12. Once I charge the battery and the motor is at full power, it's vital NOT to get the head pressed against your teeth and inner cheek. Any pressure on the gears of the brush head will cause them to strip and become useless. I have had MANY electric toothbrushes in my day and this is the first time ($150+ later) I've experienced this. I suspect it's better than the handle/motor stripping the gears as that would be a much more expensive replacement, but unfortunately I find myself using the Braun electric brush I've used for years. It's much more reliable and durable in my opinion.
