Ok intro book
Ok book - adequately introduces a lot of basic concepts, but I thought some of the explanations were not as well-worded as in books covering similar topics (e.g. Vogel's "Life in Moving Fluids", Wainwright et al.'s "Mechanical Design in Organisms").

Is a nice book
Interesting book!! Totally recommended when you want to do applied physics oriented to plants and trees. Just the images could be better in color

I have this one and would also recommend "Plant Biomechanics and Engineering Approach"
This books is fundamental for anyone studying in the field of plant biomechanics. I have this one and would also recommend "Plant Biomechanics and Engineering Approach". Dr. Niklas and Dr. Spatz bring physics and plant science into one book.

When Biology and Physics Elope
Elegantly written, informative, and thought provoking. This book illustrates the form and function of plants through the lens of a physicist. It also functions as a great vehicle for plant scientists to dive into the realm of physics using a familiar knowledge base. An excellent read; dense for those without the knowledge base, but fascinating.
