Perfect bag for traveling light
I love this bag. I bought this to fly on Spirit Airlines because of their strict luggage rules and fees. It was perfect for traveling light. It's attractive, sturdy, roomy without being bulky (it fit nicely under the seat in front of me), and had the perfect amount of zippers and pockets. I'll be bringing it to Europe with me.

Cheap fabric tore while kids were housing around
One of the boys and my daughter's class grabbed the backpack while she was wearing it and it immediately tore a hole in it. It looks like it would be a little stronger than that. These are not big kids.

Heavy duty pack with a light duty zipper
It is a simple, well made backpack, save one huge flaw. The zipper. The first issue was that the lining would get caught in the zipper and jam in normal daily use. I took some time and stitched it in such a way as to prevent this and things were fine for a while. Then the zipper started to pop open and jam when you tried to open and close it. Now the zipper has become non-funtional, which sucks because I have spent some time adding reflective patches for higher visibility when motorcycling and now it won't stay shut.

Arrived quickly, perfect size, works great for air travel carryon. Zipper broke after 2 months.

This backpack is awesome! My daughter has heavy text books and binders she carries everyday home from high school. This is the 2nd one we have bought. The only reason is the zipper broke on the first one. It was cheaper to buy a new one than to have the zipper replaced. I have no sewing skills and would have to send it out. My daughter had the first one for almost 2 years.

Nice bag with that vintage look
Nice bag with that vintage look. Time will tell how it holds up. I volunteer and carry folders and manuals in the bag, about 10 pounds. So far its been great with no issues.
