Nice quality
I bought this to replace my wooden pullout cutting board that I've had for years. This fits perfectly and is beautifully made. I highly recommend this product.

Good board but may not fit
This bamboo board is exactly what I wanted to replace the old board. It is very sturdy and easy to clean. The only "issue" was that this standard size was about 1/16th of an inch too wide for my standard opening. It is a good thing that I know people with fine furniture skills as it was cut down to properly fit. It appears as if the hardware inside the cabinet was mis-installed originally. Hope it fits for everyone else. This is the perfect board!!

Great replacement for original board
We got this to replace a cracked pull-out board in a 1932 house. We knew when we ordered it that it might be a little too wide, but there were no boards available in the size needed. It was about a half inch too wide, but my husband easily cut it with his table saw and sanded the edge. Perfect fit now. Nice to have the additional cutting space in an old kitchen.

Perfect fit as it replaced an old cutting board.
Love the color as it matches perfectly and love that it’s bamboo.

A great surface for the sacrificial altar at all levels of your food pyramid.
Purchased this as a gift for my wife (she asked for one, don't judge me) for her birthday (we're a very practical family). I needed a cutting board that not only fit the existing slot in the kitchen cabinet but was also food safe, sturdy, and preferably one sustainably made. I didn't really care if it was pretty, it was going to spend its time in one of two states: hidden in its storage slot out of sight, or covered in the remains of sacrifices to our gluttonous American diet. The fact that it looks pretty was just bonus. Thanks to the advent of the technology known as "measuring", I was competent enough to order the right size cutting board so the first criteria was met. The new cutting board weighs almost twice what the existing cutting board does (the old one was original to the house, made in the 60s, probably of materials on California's Prop 65 "List of Things That Will Kill You Slowly"). This new board is strong enough to double as a form of home defense. I don't think it'll stop a bullet but you could probably bludgeon a home intruder to death with it in a pinch. At the least, easily put them in a coma. Definitely sturdy, so second criteria also met. It's made of bamboo, or in the Latin Bambusoideae (which translates to "The most difficult grass to cut down using a lawn mower"). Like most grasses, it grows fast and is everywhere so it meets the criteria of being sustainably made which will help me sleep better at night. My only complaint about this cutting board is that I think it costs way more than a simple plank made of wild grass should cost. I'm hoping its durable enough I wont have to replace it for a long time. If it only lasts a year or two, it would be more cost effective to buy a saw and make my own cutting board next time.

Yup, a cutting board
A bit easy to stain. And the one I got came in super splintery, you'll probably have to sand yours down too. I just think that for this price it shouldn't come to you without being..you know...already ready to use. It's a pretty, and sturdy board, but like I was hoping at this price point for: 1. throw away old cutting board, 2. insert new cutting board. What I got was a whole lot of sanding to do. Size by the way, was exact to the inch as described.
