Perfect!!
These Cape gooseberries came in perfect condition. I live in southern California so I think the shipping speed helped (I believe the seller is in socal too). Berries are very tart at first then finish sweet. Not desirable to eat on their own but with a panacota or in a pie they deliver something you cant get with the local berries. I will be ordering again!

taste terrible
I have had Gooseberries and LOVED them. I suspect that these are wonderful fresh but, perhaps, whatever is sprayed on them to keep them fresh makes them taste like a chemical. Not enjoyable at all. Ended up throwing them all away.

Real, live, authentic goldenberries in their husks!
I cut them up and put them in my oatmeal (along with other fruits). These make a great, colorful and unique addition to the experience. Not easy to find, and even harder to find in their natural husked state. Always fresh, fast shipping. Highly recommended!

Pretty but not so tasty
These came in great condition with none that were not in good shape. They are just not very tasty. Kinda tart and lacking in any great flavor. And yeah that price!!!???

It wasn't very smart of me to order these from out of state! They arrived as over-ripen and most were fermented or sour in taste. Others that survived the trip were covered with mildew or split from overheating. The few that survived (the equivalent to one container) were yum.... I lost money with this buy!
