SEI Furniture MS0168 Steel Wall Mount CD Rack, Black

We love this rack! It was slightly smaller than I expected but it is perfect for the location we have placed it. It is on the wall right next to our stereo. It is very sturdy. It is a little hard to hang just because the holes are not spaced for studs. On the other hand, we just hung it on a picture hook and it works very well. It holds all our CD's. We put the double ones in upright ( vertical to the floor) and they look fine. You can only put about Two to three doubles in one diamond. We have only about 50 cd's and it will hold many many more. We have dogs and little grand kids and didn't want any standing ones. We would definitely buy more if and when we need them!

I just got these and installed them a couple of nights ago (I ordered two). I am really pleased with them. The C.D.'s are accessible and easy to see and sort in the individual "squares". I was finally able to put Mozart with Mozart and Bach with Bach and Alison Kraus with Alison Krause and Leo Kotke with Leo Kotke, etc. and etc. and etc. I think it is a great design! The black wire is there, but, doesn't take over like a wood shelf does. Also, it is fairly lightweight which made installation easy! We have hundreds of C.D.'s and storing them and organizing them has been a nightmare! I was interested in these because the product description said they each held 108 C.D.'s. I had my doubts, but, I'm here to tell you, they do! It is great to get some of our C.D.'s off the floor where we have to squat and use a flashlight to find one (on regular C.D. shelves). One thing to be aware of is that they do stick out from the wall (of course) and so I was unable to put them where I'd intended...on the hall wall. I was afraid they'd get in the way and get knocked around. I hung them over the bookcases that house DVD's, etc. and since they don't stick out any further than the shelves, they are safe! The diamond shape also gives you the opportunity to create a nice design on the wall. You can put them up against each other or separate them...they look great either way! If you are a media hog like we are and your C.D.'s are all over the place, these are a terrific solution!

Very sturdy rack. Very easy to hang. Looks and works great. Holds about 12 CDs per square / 108 CDs total. Works best at no more than 11 CDs per square / 99 CDs max.

We had been looking for a long time to find a CD storage system to fit in a narrow space behind a door. We purchased two of these based on other reviews and are extremely happy with them. They are easy to mount (we located our two vertically on a stud), look great and hold all of our CDs. More than one visitor has admired them and asked where they were purchased. If we expand our collection then we will buy more. The only drawback to the design is that if you place your CDs in the rack in an order and then acquire another CD that you want to put in the sequence then you may need to move many CDs if you have not left the space for expansion. Other than that minor inconvenience it is a five star product.

I bought just one to be sure I liked it and it's legit. Ok, so I don't know about anyone else but I had a styrofoam party in my basement after unpacking this thing. Yes the hardware isn't great so used my own anchors and screws, took 5 mins to install. Yes the double CDs don't fit perfect but they sit pretty good in mine. On buying another one right now.

This cd rack looks really nice and has helped a great deal with my cluttered CD collection. Before, I was using a short spinning cd holder and I would have to get right on the floor to see my titles. Now they are all eye level and easy to access.I like to alternate the direction of the CDs in the rack, it gives it a nice design and i have gotten complements from a lot of people on it as well. I love the simple design that I can add more racks to without looking awkward. I think this rack would look nice in a kids bedroom as well as any home.Installation was super easy! Screws and wall anchors were included.

When I opened the boxes (I got two), I was impressed by the sturdy and sleek design plus easy install. Problem is how they look on my wall - they are not full triangles but a skinnier version - looks kind of odd/shrunken. One of the photos shows this but the other three made it look like they were more like actual triangles. For small walls/rooms might not be such an issue. For me, hoping I can adjust to the look.

My problem was that when it was selling for about $55 I dithered. When I decided to buy, the price went overnight to $75. Nope. Can't do it. The price went back to $55 and I pounced. Could be different vendors. I don't know. In all things that I might purchase, there is only so much I am willing to pay, especially when I see it jump almost 30% for no reason.This is a well made rack. It is held in place with 2 screws at the top. You get the screws and the dry wall plugs with the rack.I haven't counted just how many CD's it holds, but there are 9 "squares" that might hold 6 to 8 each. You can do the math from there.Its well made and kinda trick. It does what its supposed to do. Yeah.... if I need this function for more CD's I'd buy again..... for $55.

The rack looks good and holds a substantial number of cds. Easy to mount but make sure at least one of the screws is on a stud. When full, there is a significant weight.

works great; a simple space-saving system ideal for small spaces. Idea: same folks should make a companion one for DVDs. Much better than those standing towers.

Easy to hang, looks cool, very sturdy. Would buy again.
