Salonpas-Hot Capsicum Patch 1 Each (Pack of 3)

I've been using these patches for probably 20 years. I'm so happy they now put 3 pads in an envelope - that's a plus. These do get pretty warm and they do stick to your skin like a bandaid so beware that when you pull it off, it will pull hair if there is any in that area. I've worn them over the time they say they last and it's usually over a full day. I've given them to friends and family to use and they like them and continue to use them as well. No smell to the capsicum patches - Salon Pas does have some that are the menthol smelling but these are not smelly at all - just heat - glorious heat!

I've had back patches before, different brands, and the regular Salonpas. Salonpas Hot is unbelievable. I have excruciating backpain from crushed vertebrae that sends the most awful pain shooting down one of my legs. When I felt the pain coming on, my husband helped me put one of these patches on and it relieved the pain enough that I could get some sleep. By morning my pain was so reduced, it was almost gone and I went to work. I love this patch and I have recently purchased this for my brother-in-law to help him until he could get his nerve block surgery.

I reviewed this product in the past and gave it less stars only because I felt like it was hard to put on without it sticking together. So I tried a cheaper brand and quickly discovered that is the whole point. These stay on you unlike the other brand. Once you learn how to put them on, sticking only the end on and removing the plastic as you go along, they are amazing. Good heat, all day!

These patches work very well, when i have a back pain. The only disappointment is the price. It is always confusing how many packs for the price. It is only 1 pack with 3 patches for almost $10. I got from Walmart online yesterday, the same pack for 3.39 Will not buy from Amazon again.

I have been looking for something that would help my neck. I have stenosis and damaged nerves. I tried Thermocare but it never really did was Salonpas Hot does. ALthough it heats up more slowly, once it does it really lasts for the whole 8 hours. In addition, you can cut them in half which makes them more economical. If you do cut one, don't move the backing until you have the size you want. I also like the fact that it lies flat and the heat is throughout the whole patch. I was able to do more the last two days because of the relief it provides. I really do recommend these patches.

These offer such great pain relief without the stench of menthol. I like to just stick in on and forget about it. I am not one for gels or creams and certainly not menthol smelling salon pas. Unfortunately, the stores do not seem to provide them in stock anymore and I have not been able to find on Amazon anymore either. Perhaps it is being phased out. I do not know, but I do know that these work better than any stinky menthol pain relief patch.

A little expensive compared to local brand version. Mom couldn't tolerate this level of heat on her skin. Everyone has different tolerance, though.
