Can you run this on DSL?
Can I use one as a wire-less router and another as a wire-less bridge?
The product description for the AC1800 says it has 2 USB 2.0 ports while the product description for the AC1750 says it has 2 USB ports, A 2.0 and a 3.0 USB port. Which does the AC1800 have?
How do I assign static IPs to devices without completely eliminating DHCP? Seems like a common feature, but it's nowhere to be found...

Quality router with easy installation!
Finally a router that can support multiple gaming systems (PS4s) and have people using wifi at the same time. Haven't had issues with the range or connection, it can stream Hulu and Netflix with ease as well. Over all happy with the router.

This router was easy to set up and seems to be working fine ...
This router was easy to set up and seems to be working fine but I expected it to have better range than it does. In our master bedroom, which is not far from the router, I am typically at 2 bars of signal strength. This is comparable to 2 previous routers even though this one is fairly cutting-edge. I expected more but maybe I shouldn't have. The speed is very good so far.

Great Product
This is a good router, constant speed on 5ghz band, but doesn't transmit very far, in the same room as the router I get full bars, in the next room approx 50ft from router I get disconnected, then I have to connect to the 2.4ghz band.

Not a good router.
Despite many positive ratings, this is NOT a good router. That is why it so cheap. It somehow cripples your bandwidth at 25Mbs down and 4 Mbs up. I didn't realize this for a year when I had lower service. But I moved and have Verizon Fios, which is 100Mbs down/up and the needle hasn't moved. I contacted chat support, which is outsourced overseas and it was a terrible experience. They immediately offered me a replacement, striking me as an obvious concession to a weak product. The firmware hasnt been updated in 6 years. Check that before buying. Any good product would be updated every 6 months or so. Frustrating because it amounts to advertiser/consumer fraud when you print download speeds that in NO universe will ever be achieved. Now I am trying to replace with something that works or just eat the $30 bucks as everyone does because no one has time to process returns.

great deal fast delivery. better than expected
Product was listed as used but came in original box and all booklets and even plastic as if someone bought new and never used before returning. This is the older model but works perfectly and about $140 cheaper than new one.

Good router until a firmware update
Going back to 2013 when I originally bought this - Setup was easy and it has all kinds of features including Self Healing which reboots the router on a programmable schedule. I only gave it 4 stars because the IntelliStream could not auto-detect my speed which wasn't that big of an issue since I was able to manually enter it. I'm not really sure if it did anything anyway. I never had any problems with connectivity and the throughput seemed consistent.Flash forward about 2 years to 2015 - I found there was a new firmware (which by this point is already a year old, released in Dec. 2014). The update process was painless as the router has been. After the update, I did noticed that at lease once a month, sometimes multiple days in a week, I would lose the internet. I called my ISP and after cussing at them several times, it was determined the router was unresponsive. The light on the router indicated no issues but when I tried to access it via the browser, I was unable to connect. The only thing that would help would be to pull the power on the router and reboot. Then I remembered the Self Healing feature... but to my dismay, it wouldn't reboot when it was supposed to. This indicates to me the router is actually frozen so the only fix so far is to pull the power. And for this, I took away another 2 starts. In summary, it was a great router until I updated to the latest firmware. Since technology changes so quickly and this is a 3 year old technological dinosaur, it appears that I will be in the market for another router. The question I face is whether to make it another Belkin product.

The 5 GHZ does not work right all the time
Very good technical support and phone / e-mail help. The only issue is that it did not worked. To much issues with software and I had to spend a lot of time just to install. I really was expecting no issues, plug and play... If I can still say that. The 2.4 GHZ is OK, but the 5GHZ just died, so you have to reset, and die again and you have to reset. After some time you have to remove the software from the computer and install again, and reset, and.... at the end the 1300 MHZ in 5GHZ channel does not work, so why spend U$ 200.00 in just 2.4 GHZ. The quality of the construction, product, strength, etc.. is excellent, it does the 5 GHZ does not work. I tested the new Apple, and now is my reference, simply you do not have to do nothing, just "plug and play" .. This is the best for me or even the Asus. Not Belkin. My third Belkin, the last two had this issue with 5 GHZ. The first one just 2.4 GHZ it is excellent.I must add that I am very happy because Belkin is contacting me to try to solve this issue. It is amazing a company tracks the reviews and ask to help. This is excellent. I just wanted to add this comment to say thanks for Belkin.

What's in the Box
AC 1800 wireless router, power supply, and networking cable.
*Up to 4.3x faster physical data rate when compared to 802.11n Wi-Fi routers using two antennas to transmit and receive data. Actual speeds will vary depending on a number of factors. In order to achieve the best performance, router must be used with a compatible wireless device.
**The standard transmission rates--300 Mbps (for 2.4 GHz), 300 Mbps or 1.3 Gbps (for 5 GHz), 54 Mbps, and 11 Mbps--are the physical data rates. Actual data throughput will be lower and may depend on the mix of wireless products used.
