TOUCHPAD ISSUE!! Everything else is great!
1.) Really fast shipping! This laptop got delivered way before the estimated delivery date which is awesome!2.) I got this laptop today (4/4/15) and so far I really like it. I was surprised by how cool the keyboard backlight looks. And the laptop looks pretty thin and kind of like an ultrabook. I like the nice sleek, modern design.3.) I was also surprised that the laptop didn't come with bloatware (the extra junk software that is installed in new laptops).4.)*** Right now my only issue is the touchpad!!!!! THE BUTTONS KEEP GETTING STUCK!!! Right now I think it might just be me... maybe i'm not using it right or i'm doing something wrong. I'm going to keep using this laptop but if the touchpad buttons are still getting stuck after 2 weeks of use, i'm going to try to return this laptop. I spent way too much money on it for the touch pad buttons to keep getting stuck ON THE FIRST DAY OF USE! Example: When I try to right click something the right click button on the touch pad gets stuck and it won't get unstuck unless I mess with it a lot.**TIP: When you get a new laptop install a really good virus protection IMMEDIATELY! (I use Kaspersky Internet Security) My last Dell Inspiron lasted me 6 years without any trouble because I believe Kaspersky protected me from everything. Also I would try not to move the laptop around a lot. And I would always use the laptop on a hard surface. NEVER put the laptop on a soft surface like blanket, carpet and etc.

Edit: 3.5 Star overall rating.
I was very excited about this laptop even despite the negative reviews. It seems to have everything I want and it has the ability to be upgraded in the Wireless card, GPU, and hard drive areas. The first computer we received had faulty speakers right out of the box. Nothing the Dell Tech did (Who connected directly to the laptop) could fix it. So we had to send it back for a replacement. After seeing it in person, I am having second thoughts about it altogether. The keyboard is every bit as flexy as others have said. No kidding, you can easily deflect from corner to corner by one quarter of an inch without any difficulties at all. If you so wished, you could very easily apply enough pressure to snap the base in half. It may sound as though I am over reacting. Well, that’s exactly what I thought when I read the other reviews that said the base was flimsy. How bad could it be? I took the chance, and now I am a believer. It's most certainly not a kid’s computer. This is for my wife and it's not like she will beat it. Still, I am really dismayed at the build quality. It's a damn shame too, because I really liked the rest of the computer in the hour that I played with it. I liked its price, and I liked its specs. I have a very short amount of time to decide rather or not to ask for a refund and choose something else. But I did a pretty good search leading up to this purchase and in the price range, I think its going to be a tough act to compare to.EDIT:I upgraded this from 2 to 3 stars. If we could give half stars, Id give it a 3.5. Over all computing ability and flexibility in hard ware upgrades is probably 4 stars. The build quality I would give 2.5 Stars. I would weight its computing ability heavier than its durability in our situation, and that’s how I arrived at an overall rating of 3.5.We ended up keeping the replacement after my wife had time to play with it some. She tells me she really like it and so far she has not had any issues. She has been using it for 3 months now all seems to be well. She is gentle when opening it and mindful when handling it. I will restate that this is not a kid’s computer and will not stand up to pretty much any abuse. But it is working well for my wife so far, and she does appreciate the touch screen.

So far has been a great computer, has a backlit keyboard with two brightness ...
This review is for the non-touch with the i5 processor. So far has been a great computer, has a backlit keyboard with two brightness settings. I received a signature edition; basically it does not have any bloat ware installed, no trial antivirus (windows defender is installed), no trial word, games, toolbars, etc.. Exactly what I wanted. the computer is fast, setup took less than a few minutes. It does not have an optical drive installed, but I have found I have not used one in years, but the option would have been nice. If you find you need one, a USB drive can be purchased separately. The touch pad isn't that bad, it is sensitive when you tap on it for clicking, but once you get use to it I find it to work really well. Others have stated that the base is flimsy. Not sure what they're doing with their laptop, but its a laptop, handle it with two hands and you will have no problems. I have good response from the key board and the keys feels pretty good, I have experienced better from an older HP, but this is no way a deal breaker. If you want a gaming computer, then buy a gaming computer, this is not what this is designed for. Have had zero problems connecting to wifi and have great signal strength. It's great for college work, email, excel spreadsheets, web surfing, etc. I have had multiple applications open and it doesn't bog down or over heat. All in all seems to be a great laptop so far, time of course, will tell.

4 Years
So I got this computer for school back in 2015 overall pretty good computer. It still runs like a champ as we approach 2019. I have taken it to mutiple countries and no problems, played Sims 4, Diablo 3, use it record a final, written enough papers to have books ten books over. The specs are great, but the hardware leave a lot to be desired this poor thing in fallin apart at the seams. I have had the screws replaced, lost those screws and gone and gotten new ones to no avial. The final straws for me is the bottom of my laptop is lifting from the top of the keyboard so no more carrier this beast around anymore. Which for me is a problem because I am a currently deployed soldier that on the move a lot. The other problem this computer faces is by the hinges the cover has broken off exposing then computer and weaking the hinges I have to place the screen just the right way for me to see. I am not going to toss this computer since it been so great to me, but it will retire in a diminsioned state. I would recommend this computer for light use don't cart in around everyday like I did. I totally plan on getting another dell product in this line up in the furture.

Badminton Racquet is fine and I am enjoying the Game
Badminton Racquet is fine and I am enjoying the Game. Regarding the Lab Top within 10 days of the receipt the Charger is not working. I have sent messages to both Amazon and Dell no one bothered to contact. I even talked to the customer service of Amazon though he promised action with in two days but no one so far bothered to rectify the same.
