Sony Playstation 3 160GB System (Renewed)

I must’ve gotten super super lucky with mine! The Playstation 3 i received was perfect! It came with a bootleg controller, but as for the console itself, it’s perfect. No jet engine sound, no freezing.

So this is the first PS3 station I got from this business and it was not refurbished. The stupid thing would never turn off. It would just overheat. Also, it was full of dust and debris. But I’ve been wanting a PS3 for a while so I decided I just try and see how it goes. Yeah piece of junk! So I called Amazon to get a replacement. The replacement came yesterday and it’s even filthier than the first one. I didn’t bother to ask Amazon if it was from the same business because if I had I would’ve told them not to bother sending a replacement. I can’t stand dishonest people. It’s so very frustrating. And to top it off the PS3 has a big chemical burn on the bottom of it where it’s partially melted. I wish Amazon would hold sellers to a higher standards. Because I’ve had my electronics refurbished before. When I have got them back, they were always pristine clean. When you refurbish an electronic item, you actually clean it because everyone knows dirt and debris damages electronics. So if a business sells an electronic item but don’t bother to clean it, obviously they’re not repairing it. They’re just reselling old PS3 units they find and then claiming the items have been refurbished. Dishonest ! I’ll be getting my money back. Horrible company do not buy from them.

Okay so normally I would never buy anything electronic such as computers, laptops, game consoles, or TVs renewed or refurbished due to previously negative experiences. But I had to buy this in a pinch for a Christmas gift, because nobody is selling these anymore, naturally I went on Amazon found this and crossed my fingers. It’s literally just like brand new!! Very surprised and pleased!! Online capabilities work, WiFi, the store accepts dvds game discs, etc. usb ports are perfect. Absolutely nothing wrong with it minus a very few cosmetic flaws but I could care less. Playing this everyday almost for hours since then. Still have yet to experience any issues, fair price. Could’ve been a tad bit lower. Overall 100% satisfied. By the way, you’re going to want a replacement controller instead of the one provided. It’s not exactly built for long term use mine stopped working and taking a charge.

Ps3 runs and starts up without a problem. I mainly bought mine to play my old childhood game, sly cooper. Only problem i have is my controller was damaged. The left L2 button was jammed into the controller, which is pretty common with these controllers so I had to purchase a new one which luckily they're cheap. My 2nd issue which isn't really an issue I guess since it's pre-owned but th3 glass part of the console where the power button is, it's all cracked. At first I thought it was the plastic film to peel off but I was mistaken. It's bubbl3d up, nothing crazy upsetting or anything. Just a note to those who are trying to find pre-owned consoles that look brand new. This probably ain't it for you. Other than that, it came remotely packaged well. Outer packaging was damaged which worried me. But as of now, consol runs great, got all cords (power and HDMI) and one controller which was broken. I'd recommend these guys, just be aware of what you're ordering. These were used once. They're not perfect condition out the outside.

Got this for my son as a Christmas gift he loves it

Was a little hesitant about getting a renewed product like this but all of my worries were cleared away. Everything arrived boxed safely and was able to turn on and update very fast. Everything was included to get you started. I still did a full erase to factory settings and complete update before using. Unit is working great and super happy to bring some of my old games back to life for a new generation. Buy with confidence and thank you!

The controller dosent work unless it’s connected so it’s basically a wired controller bc it won’t charge, and I’ve seen other people say the controllers don’t work for them either.

This PS3 arrived right on time. I was very nervous about setting it up because I'm old and this is my first real gaming system. To my delight, the ps3 walked me through all the steps and I was able to play pretty quickly! The outside of the case is beat up. That would be my only criticism. However, it's only cosmetic and doesn't affect the performance at all. This package included one wireless controller and charging cord, a really heavy duty HDMI cable, and the power cord. I'm including this info because when I was shopping, I saw several options that didn't include all of this. I'm very pleased with this purchase!!
