Geosystems Leica DISTO E7500i 660ft Laser Distance Measure w/Bluetooth & DISTO Sketch iPad iPhone App, Black/Red

We have had this brand of laser for over 20 years. As real estate appraisers, this model is just right.

I had to buy a replacement for one I bought 4 years ago. I'm a real estate appraiser and I use this thing every day. No complaints at all on how long the last one lasted!! It's reliable and accurate. The camera feature is the best, especially in bright sunlight when you can't see the laser's red dot. And I love the fact it's battery powered because if I had to stop to charge it that would be the end of the day. If you need to measure accurately, this will do the job for you.

Excellent product! The UI is very easy to use and understand. The camera magnification function really works. I am able to take measurements outside without any problems. The unit is very well made and the batteries last for a long time. This is one of those tools that will change my work flow for the better. Recommended without any hesitations.

Great tool and functions well

The only issue with this laser is that once in a while it freezes. Other than that, it is a great tool.

I use this on the jobsites in dirty concrete plants. It has taken a couple of spills from 10+ feet and still works fine - barely a scratch. The device itself is what I use the most. The app - while it does work - isn't very useful for what I do. I could see it being a bit more useful on a tablet with a larger screen. The interface is intuitive enough that even helpers that have never seen it pick it up quickly.

Update from original post - still not impressed. Definitely not worth the cost. Battery life is terrible even when not using the camera/screen. Unstable, if you place against a wall and its not the perfect touch to the wall it will be screen out and the device restarts. Camera screen hard to see in the sun - brightness all the way up. Look for an alternative. Camera screen dark. Slow to boot up. Lagging and slow to project laser. It works and does what it says but at slow speed. Camera screen mediocre clarity. For the money think it could be better.

Excellent production by a great manufacturer. I use this everyday to do X,Y,Z, measurements to input into CAD preliminary models. It has been the most accurate unit I’ve used so far and the camera with zoom is extremely useful!!

We use it for field works. Very accurate. It's features are incredibly diverse and useful. Works very well in full sunlight and camera is a great bonus. I suggest using a tripod for far away distances, otherwise very good device.

I ordered the Leica Geosystems Disto E7500i for my nephew, who uses it daily for work. He is very happy with it and mentioned that it is high quality, accurate, and durable. I recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable device.

Works great inside and outside, even with bright sunshine conditions. Lots of useful features. The app that interfaces the instrument with and android smart phone is awkward and primitive though. Mounted on a tripod, it will measure up to 750 ft, with execeptionally consistent and repeatable measurements.
