Priceless resources for young people
When you get six books for the price of two it is already a great deal. But how good are the books in the Smart Life Book Bundle? In my opinion, they’re pretty useful, especially for people who want to learn and study in a smart way. While books are invaluable for younger readers, I still found something valuable for me in those volumes. For example, the first book, The Intellectual Toolkit of Geniuses is a great, thought and emotion provoking read. Reading some principles I want to scream yeah, while reading others I know they won’t work for me (or for majority of people). But it’s good as Mr. Robledo admits that those principles are not universal. Still the book is engaging and deserves 5 stars. On the other hand the second book, Master Your Focus is a dreadful read. I like the content, but the style of the first half is overly academic. In fact, I cannot find a paragraph without a passive sentence. I would understand such an approach in a 5-page scientific paper, but it’s almost unbearable in a self-help book. Fortunately, the second half of the book is a much more pleasant read. Besides, the content of the whole volume is superb. Overall score of this book is 3.5 stars (4.5 for content and 2.5 for style). The third book, The Smart Habit Guide deserves 4 stars. It’s very good , but I am not the target. I don’t have a problem with finding activities that challenge my mental strength in everyday life. In fact, I need to remember myself not to think so much. Still the book is a valuable read for someone, who does not find pleasure in learning more and more all the time. But what is the chance that such a person grab this book? The fourth book, No One Ever Taught Me How to Learn is a basic book about learning. It covers all basic information you should know about the topic. Unfortunately, I knew 95% of the material before reading. Still it will be a priceless read for someone at 14-18 years, and very useful for most people in 19-25 year range. On the other hand, the book will be of the limited use for older people as they likely, either don’t need the knowledge, or know it already. Summarizing, it is a 4.5 star book. The fifth book is a list of apps with a detailed description and tips how to use them for the maximum effect. My biggest concern is that I don’t know if author plan to update this book regularly. It might be needed because the app world evolves so fast that a one-year old book might be already outdated. The sixth book, Ready, Set, Change touches the topic of the life experimentation. But it’s not a flawless book as it lacks the structure. In consequence, the first half of the book feels to me like a very long introduction with no real substance. From my perspective, this part of a book was more of a philosophical essay than a self-help. On the other hand, the second half threw at me various information randomly. While reading, I cannot stop thinking that this is going to nowhere and the book is running in circles. Summarizing this book is hard to review, as it is based on a great innovative idea, but the execution might be much better. The subpar structure of the book simply hides a lot of useful information based on an extraordinary idea.Summarizing the review of the whole bundle, it’s definitely worth reading and applying, especially for the young people.

This is a very useful collection of books
This is a very useful collection of books. To begin with, they provide a helpful master table of contents which facilitate going to the material you want to read. This bundle offers many good ideas and practical tips to think and live smarter. In my opinion, they deliver what they promise to do. I have practiced many of the tips. I have developed smarter habits, and I am able to focus much better and solve challenging problems in my life. I even tried some simple experiments to get some results that work for me. I think these books are excellent for the price, and I highly recommend them.

Genesis
I've never so abhorred becoming a genius than after reading the clips of the "look inside" provided by Amazon. Not one of the many principles address what genius really is, which is found quite simply in the etymology of the word itself, which is identical to the first book of the Bible: Genesis. First and foremost a genius must create, and if creation does not come, then the person is not a genius. Not even one of the principles so much as mentions this.
