I don't think the picture accurately represents the product you are receiving. The product you get is of very high quality and the electrical wire is thicker then I thought it would be. Unfortunately for me, I gave mine away as an Xmas gift but will be ordering one for my self very soon, but I did get to help but them up. They went up very easily and the provided holes at each fixture allowed us to string a guide wire through them. (I would strongly recommend using a decent wire to put up that you string the lights from.) The bulbs are also better than expected. They have a visually appeasing shape and look great when powered up. Each bulb is individually packaged and we had no broken bulbs. Over all this is a great string light and I cannot wait to get one for myself.

Ok so I bought four of these (96 total bulbs!). They are DEFINITELY NOT the item pictured on the amazon website. The wire is a flat pair of 16 gauge wires, not the round ones, but I probably could have lived with that. There were 5 bulbs inoperative and 3 of the sockets did not work at all, so they are going back. Really for heavy duty outdoor use. Bulbs are large and cord is thick and heavy. For the price the cord is nice and long but not what I was looking for at all. Plus at least 2 bulbs were broken upon arrival. I am sending this product back. I thought I could get away with using them inside but definitely not.

Purchased these lights for my garden. Product is exactly as advertised. Cool deco industrial-age look; solid construction.Would buy these lights again. Light up the gardens beautifully, and now I can see what I am grilling!UPDATE: I have been using these lights for a while now and I should report on a couple drawbacks. Periodically, a few bulbs burn out mysteriously and have to be replaced; this does not seem to be because they are exhausted (I do not leave the lights burning for long periods, and the rest keep burning fine). The other issue with these lights is that when you go to unscrew them they occasionally break off in your hand, leaving the metal base stuck in the socket. Needless to say this is an unpleasant, not to mention potential hazardous experience. If you unplug the lights, you can grip an edge of the base and carefully unscrew it. Do this slow and steady, because the metal is very pliable and will bend out of shape, making extraction very difficult. These are the least expensive vintage style string bulbs I have found and I keep ordering them despite the flaws. Basically you get what you pay for. Bottom line: great price, great look, cheaply made.

These are heavy duty lights that look amazing on the patio. They have a warm amber glow and they have stood up to the worst wind and rain in California in five years. Not a bulb was damaged and no rain got into the connectors at all. These will last a long time and they really upgraded my back yard from cave status to outdoor magic.

We have had these for about a year and 8 bulb connections have gone bad. The bulbs work but the sockets no longer work. Bad product - do NOT purchase!

The lights were exactly what we were looking for in quality and looks. They have added the extra lighting we needed and look beautiful! The only disappointment was there where at least 6 bulbs which were bad and had to be replaced leaving us with no extras. We did have 4 extra lights that exceeded the necessary length therefore the extras. I would have expected a longer life than just 2 uses. Overall.....love them!
