I add these mics to the Pyle-Pro PDWM8900 8 channel wireless mic system. This low cost mics greatly improved the sound quality over the mics that came with the system and being much smaller was much more noticeable visually. They are very sensitive with placement and need to be right in front of the mouth and about 3/4" to inch away. Much further either way and sound level dramatically changes. Read several reviews about mics breaking when bending. I had no issue with bending them. I had small children that required a lot of bending and shaping to fit right, not a single issue. I could feel that these are a bit stiff and require small incremental bends to create a big bend. The kids weren't gentle with the mics and the lasted several practices and two shows. For the $14 cost these were a great improvement to the overall performance of the system. Highly recommend if buying Pyle-Pro wireless mic pack.

Works well, and good quality, the microphone is barely noticeable and it is compatible with my cheaper-end battery pack and it looks very professional! I love this microphone! Love that it goes only over one ear. It is comfortable and got positive feedback on it from using it in a speaking group that I am in. If you use this microphone in a room where the audio would otherwise cause an echo in a zoom call, this microphone takes the echo away! And you sound incredibly crisp and clear. No need to dampen your hard wood floors and furniture with blankets!!

I am a real estate trainer and hold seminars around the country. My class is 3 hours long and we generally have an audience of about 40 to 100+ attendees. I've done 33 live events over the past 10 months. I purchased this unit because I firmly believe that great audio is an essential component of a great seminar. Being heard loud and clear is so important to the reception of the event, and also allows you to speak in a normal voice with effortless ease. Attendees really appreciate it. I use both hands a lot when I speak so a lavalier mic is a MUST for me. I've done a few events with a handheld - and although the audio is generally richer (because you can hold the mic closer to your mouth) the trade-off of having just one hand and speaking with a bent elbow for 3 hours just not worth it. I purchased this mic to go along with my Hisonic HS122B-HL portable sound system (which I absolutely love). I had seen other public speakers wear one similar to this and I like the look and overall feel. Read the reviews and went ahead and placed my order. The unit is lightweight, comfortable and actually has excellent sound. The problem for me was that this unit did not last beyond five events! I was about 30 minutes into my presentation when I heard that dreaded "snap crackle pop" which with richly amplified from the great Hisonic audio system. I tried making several adjustments but it just would not stop. I basically had to stop the seminar and switch out with the lavalier that comes with the Hisonic - (which does not sound as rich and clear mainly because it's about 4 inches from my mouth vs this unit which is about an inch away). Bottom line - the unit did not last more than 5 times (which was sadly after my 30 day amazon return period). The wire is obviously shorted – but I was very careful to roll it and put it away very delicately each time I used it. The lavalier that came with my Hisonic unit has been used more than 30 times and it has never given me any issues. Again – the few times that this unit was operable, the sound was pretty awesome. Maybe I just got a bad unit but I am now too skiddish try another one of these! I will probably try to find a different brand of this 'over-ear' mic because I really do like the design.

updated: I would definitely recommend this microphone to anyone, with the forewarning that you should probably avoid using the black plugin converter thing (I'm sorry, my wording), and you should research how to convert the audio file into two channels, correctly (which should be easy). I use this microphone all the time over my $100 microphone--it's pure gold (to me)!! :D After using this for about a year, here are some ups and downs. The black 1/4 to 1/2 aux converter broke really easily. I put it inside of a guitar amplifier, and it broke inside of the plug thing (I don't know what it's called). I don't know how to open my guitar amplifier up and get all the stuff, because unlike the fact that most things are screwed together, this part of my amplifier seems to have been glued together, and I don't want to ruin something. So now, I can't really use my amplifier--I suppose I should get it fixed and call someone. I stand by the exact same audio quality claims--it sounds so good for the price, and if you can work around the other stuff, it's pretty much the perfect microphone. There's almost no background noise. It gets tiring, the fact that I can only record on one ear, but maybe that's because I have no prior experience except being a self-taught musician. This isn't an issue because I can fix this in the FL Studio 12 Demo, but for others, one must learn how to convert the file to two channels instead of only one of the two. Probably because I bent the thing to fit my ear, too much, it doesn't stick to my ear as well as it used to. I usually use soft medical tape or my headphones to keep the microphone staying up, which is fine. Anyway, I still use this, all the time, so I feel bad to say these downsides. I really hope people can look past these "things" and see that this is a really nice microphone, especially since it's freakin' cheap. So, still, go buy it! Here's my old review: It's been many, many months, and this microphone has not failed me. I suggest anyone to be careful with the other black plugin, but this microphone is As a pianist that loves to sing too, I hate that I have to lean forward and break my back to reach the microphone stand. So I knew I needed to "wear" a microphone for my tastes. I have to say, I am NOT disappointed. The clarity of this thing is amazing; this is the first microphone where I actually believed this -sounds- like me! All other microphones make this weird, distorted version of me. Not this baby, oh no. Not only that. The feedback is NONEXISTANT. When I'm using this with a loud speaker, the microphone doesn't pick up the speaker and cause that really loud, annoying sound. It's PERFECT. I'm in love. There are tears in eyes. 10/10. Thank you! There are only a couple complaints (which I've worked around, so they don't hassle me anymore). Firstly, when I try to connect this microphone to my external mixer, no sound comes out. Secondly, when I put this microphone into my laptop and connect it to FL Studio, my recording program registers the sound as "left," not as "right." Only my left ear hears the sound. I have to adjust the input settings so that I'm only recording the "left" sound, so that the sound is "mono." It's perfect now and I have no issues using it to sing while playing piano. Thanks, guys. I think this could be a great mic, but I need to fiddle more to make it work for ME. I had high hopes for this microphone. I have used this style before and I know it can be tricky as I am female and wear glasses. I know I will need to make adjustments, but I haven’t reached a place where I am super happy with this product yet. What I’ve found/impressions so far: The over the ear fit would be great if you have a big head, or maybe big ears. The pre-molded loop didn’t work for me, nor did I expect it to. I was more disappointed in the length of the ear to mic portion. I was hoping for a less conspicuous mic, and this piece is so long I feel like it went from my left ear all the way to the right side of my mouth. I realized that the material is pretty flexible, so I essentially re-formed the ear loop, shortening everything. I had some success, but need to continue to fiddle. The provided filters are not easy to put over the mic. I can’t decide if they are needed or not- I’ll do some further testing to see what works for me. I didn’t love the look of the mic with the filter, so even after fighting to get the filter on (toothpicks and tweezers were involved) I removed it. However- let’s be real, if this fit over your ear well, it’s plug and play into a DJI Mic 2 unit. The sound was fine, but I switched out to a different lav due to my own fit concerns and a looming deadline.

I ordered this mic because of the extremely low price and because it came with an 1/8" (3.5mm) connector that would work with the mic belt pack of my Nady UHF24 Wireless system (which is switchable between instrument/lapel mic/headworn mic). The type of connector in itself a very difficult find, as most headset mic's of this type are made to connect to specific wireless products (Shure, Audio-Technica, Sennheiser) via a mini xlr etc... I must say that the technical spec's on this unit are about the same as, if not identical to, that of the "Countryman" or "Audio Technica" units costing upwards of $300 (which I have used many times), and to be honest I've not yet noticed any significant difference, other than the fact that it cost about 5% or less, of the price of the "allegedly" better brands. It has worked just fine for both speaking and singing, and with none of the undesirable noises and hypersensitivities that I've experienced from other products. I may discover in the future that it's not as durable as the more expensive products, but even a "cheap" tool can last if you take care of it, and for less than $20 each, I could replace it 15 times over and still be ahead of the game!

Un-freaking-believable! My audio-technica $300 microphpone just broke and repairing it was going to be pretty expensive. I took a flyer on this thing and I was amazed. The sound quality is every bit as good as the audio technica. I plug into a Sennheiser body pack, and, although the a-t had a balanced plug and this doesn't, the sound is fantastic. Mechanically, it is plastic and doesn't bend like the metal a-t, but it fit my ear pretty well. If it didn't, I would have spun some tape around it until it did. BUT...the cord comes out the bottom FRONT, instead of behind the ear. To fix that, you will want two pieces of scotch tape. (I used small band-aids). Wrap one around the end of the plastic joint, to push the two sides together. Then, take the other and tape the cord to the plastic at the back of the ear, and voila- it comes out the back of the ear. The other deficiency is that it doesn't have a collar clip for the cord, for behind your neck. You can make that. I used the one from the a-t microphone. One final addition you'll want to make: Just in front of your ear, tape the boom to your face. It stabilizes the mic from bouncing around as others have complained. This thing is unbelievable for the price.

This is a super cheap mic. Don't forget that. Sound quality is meh. Works in a pinch, but needs extensive EQ to sound good. There's a good bit of peakiness in the upper frequencies and the boxy sound is pronounced. A few cuts later, and it's not so bad. This is our backup mic at church. It's not bad for that. I would not recommend as the primary mic. I purchased it with this use in mind, so for a cheap backup mic, it's 5 stars. On its own, I would give it 3.

Ce micro est très pratique si on sait l'utiliser (avec un enregistreur de type Zoom H4n par exemple, ou un système bluetooth Boya WM5). Le son est très correct, bien que pas au niveau d'un micro similaire de gamme professionnelle. Pour faire du skype ou de la vidéo youtube ça fait largement le job.

Ich nutze das Mikrofon hauptsächlich beim Zocken am PC. Ich hatte vorher ein klassisches Headset mit Mikrofon, um Teamspeak & Co zu nutzen. Da ich den Ton aber über Lautsprecher laufen lasse, war ich auf der Suche noch einem eingenständigen Mikrofon ohne Headset (das wurde mir langsam zu unbequem). Das Mikrofon läuft ohne Probleme, ich bin im Teamspeak, Skype & Co gut zu hören und der Tragekomfort ist großartig. Es sitzt schön nah am Mund und man merkt es kaum. Stört auch nicht nach mehreren Stunden am Ohr. Schön wäre zwar noch, wenn es etwas flexibel wäre und man es etwas auf sein Ohr bzw. seinen Kopf zurechtbiegen könnte, aber bei mir sitzt da alles perfekt und von daher kein Grund nicht 5 Sterne zu geben. :-)

questo microfono ad archetto va utilizzato SOLO ed ESCLUSIVAMENTE come sostituzione dei microfoni guasti del sistema Pyle PDWM8900. Necessitano di un'alimentazione da 1,5 a 10 volts (quindi non funzioneranno se utilizzati in ingresso di un mixer audio standard - e la phantom power a 48 volt non va bene). Funzionano se collegate ad un PC. La descrizione non menziona queste limitazioni pertanto, nel mio caso, soldi buttati. Non avendo più la confezione originale, non ho più la possibilità di restituirlo.
