If you're building a house or doing a remodel and want a well made, sturdy way to vent your dryer thru the wall while saving 4" of depth to your dryer footprint, this is the way to go! Our laundry room is not huge, so saving the extra 4" behind our dryer is kindof a big deal. There are lots of plastic boxes which work like this one but most are plastic and seem a little flimsy. This one however, is metal and sturdy, really adding to the quality of our build. It arrived promptly (several days sooner than Amazon estimated), so big props for that, and it arrived in excellent condition. Conclusion: If you're building or remodeling, this is a very good quality unit for routing your dryer vent thru the wall, while saving valuable space in the process. I highly recommend.

The product is well made. I used it for an upstairs laundry in an existing plaster/ wood lathe wall. Getting the 4" pipe into the oval opening was a challenge but I was fishing it from the attic through the top plate. I had to trim the plaster off the inside of the wall cavity to get this to fit. I would think that using it in a drywall wall or new construction would have been much easier. This is designed to sit on the studs. I used spray foam to seal up the wall. It made the hook up a breeze for the stacked dryer. Plus it allows the units to sit just a couple inches off the wall.

Durable, was able to use for downward duct, didn’t come with hose adapter so you need to find a some other options. Well built!

Used it as part of an upstairs laundry room installation. Have had it for a year, has worked great. Installed it myself. Vendor has good products for dryer vent stuff; I also got some low drag turns and a roof vent. Their videos and technical library is easy to access and learn from. When I needed a little more technical help, their team provided a good answer right away. Highly recommended.

Makes the dryer hose look more finished. It was a little difficult to bend the duct to an oval shape to get it in the hole.

Super item to use to hook up dryer so the piping doesn’t protrude in the wall. Simple, yet functional device. Sturdy. Going to pair it with the MagVent to make a clean installation. Delivery was on time.

Great product, is sturdy but wildly over priced.
