Very poor workmanship
This item was ordered and I wanted to cancel due to the estimated delivery time of end of July having found the item elsewhere. This seller refused to cancel item with 20 minutes of order. I informed the seller that once I received the item I would return it. Having received the item it was noted that some functions the mic Input port did not work. Very poorly made item. I have tried to return having been told that the cost of returning and 15% restocking fee I would only receive £8. The item cost £35. The item is poor quality and I do not recommend dealing with this seller.

Absolute gem
For the money, this little mixer is a bargain. It runs on a 5v USB power supply so can be used with a phone charger without mains power. It's got decent EQ for 2 mic ins (one with phantom power) and audio in via 14" jacks and phono, plus an onboard USB music player function (just plug in your USB stick or SD card with audio files), it's receives bluetooth and has pause/skip controls plus basic delay effects (mic channels only) and even connects to your PC for easy file transfer with USB, plus 1/4" jack out and headphones mix. Unfortunately you can't use the line ins AND bluetooth/USB audio simultaneously but for the money this things is an absolute gem. The only negative is that there is some low level buzzing/noise sometimes, but this thing is less than £30. It's amazing!

Does just what I need it for
I bought this item to help in recording my radio show and podcasts through my desktop PC as I was getting poor quality sound through my pc's sound-card. Once I had figured out how to connect it correctly it works really well, however, the manual is a single piece of paper with instructions in 'Chinglish', (Chinese English), and is nigh on impossible to understand. I had to find YouTube videos to understand how it worked and that is why I have deducted a star. It is a cheap and simple item, and you can use it for more than what I actually use it for. Plus, you can record straight to a USB drive on the integrated USB port, and you can actually power the unit with a mobile power bank! Be aware that it is not a mixing desk as in the sense of those used in professional studios but rather a USB sound-card mixing desk for home and portable use. I intend to try using it when I interview people as it has 2 mic sockets. Be aware that the controls for the mics are for them as a pair and not as individual controls.

Disappointed, but is the unit bad?
I could only give 1 star to this unit as the one I received was defective ( the sound went from clean to distorted to non existent back to clean)! That's not to say the mixer is bad! It powered up, the 48v phantom power supply seemed to work. The knobs and the effects button seem to work. I just think I was sent a broken one, this is not a negative review of this item, it's a negative review of my experience of this item! I've seen youtube reviews of this 4 channel mixer that show it working well.

not working at all
I recieved this today, straight out of the box it was a faulty unit. Ten seconds of recording and sound became warped and buzzy and dropped an octave. Tried recording with both my desktop pc and my laptop and did the same thing in both. Also wouldn't recognise any usb key I tried in it to attempt to record direct to usb. I tried from 8gb up to 64 gb, however it wouldnt reconise any of them. I dont know if they are all like this, or just the unit I recieved that was faulty, but mine was awful anyway. Just going to shell out the extra few quid and get myself a Behringer Xenyx Q1002usb instead.

Flawed...
Main flaw: The Left 1/4" output jack is directly above the usb power source, with a 1/4" cable inserted it shorts out the power to the desk.... I'm having to use the headphone output with a splitter cable to output audio to the speakers.Flaw 2: the usb power outlet doesn't connect snugly and will detach itself with little movement.Flaw 3: Whilst connected via USB to my iMac, it gave a warning that the desk was trying to draw more power than could be supplied. There was also a smell of melting plastic from the unit whilst powered by USB only.Sound is passably decent, currently using it to run an old DVD player as a CD player, a vinyl deck and my phone into a pair of studio monitors. Also has both a bluetooth receiver and an odd an unexpected radio tuner, which does pick up local stations.

Great piece of kit.
Great little box of tricks for the money. I connected an XLR mic and the onboard 48k power sets it up perfectly. Add another XLR for dual podcasting. Added my Android phone in so was able to record calls, all via USB. It handles 32gb USB stick no problem. Some post production required but totally happy so far. It does many other things too. No need for PC. Can be used for karaoke, guitar. I even added my music keyboard and recorded on the fly. You will need to test the settings to get it right for your setup. But that's the same for expensive gear as well. Available on Prime next day delivery. Get it now.

Cmon for £30 this amazing
Cmon I’ve read some gripes and yes there are a few. Now I’m confused. I read that the phantom power doesn’t work. Well mine worked really well and you have a 4 track usb recorded here. Plays back well tooOk no pan control: a strange omission for a mixer and a pointless reverb/ echo effect which only seems useful when it’s dry oh and no off and on switch. So? Turn your levels to zero before you turn it off. They even give you a micro usb to usb and a plug ! The manual as some else said is Chinglish but it’s not too hard to work out. The display reading blue confused me, but I dare say the net has an answer. That said, if you want a little mixer to use for radio or a quiz then this is great value for money. If you’re looking for the Rolling Stones Mobile you’d be disappointed. Personally a 4 track recorder mixer/ player for 30 quid. Well I can overlook lack of pan and dodgy echo. If you want something that costs hardly anything for the sort of thing I’ve mentioned then give Muslady a shot!
