In this bead embroidery kit half cross stitch must be used. Make two stitches fot fixing the first and the last bead. Brand New! Good quality but stressful craft
Th e product itself was good quality and well made. My only issue with it was some of the colors were hard to distinguish between, the thread tangles easily, and the cloth is a satiny cloth that is hard to hold tight and you can't use a ring or it will break the beads. But like I said the quality of the product itself was great and as expected.But this craft was the most frustrating thing I have ever done in my life. I like cros stich and dimond painting so I figured I would like this. I was wrong. It is impossible to make all the beads go the same direction and line up correctly, they also do not get tight so they love a lot. And I can not tell you how many times I poured all of the beads all over myself. They come in little zip bags and you cannot get the beads out one at a time as you are stiching them. So you have to put them in an outside container. And I knocked that container over so many times. I will proble not be able to or want to finish this project because it is stressful lol.

Fun project
This was a fun project. Overall my feedback:1. Please add more selvage- the whole project got a pull run in the satin from mounting on a frame. Can’t hide it because there was so little fabric to Mount. I’ve other kits from this seller with the same issue.2. Some of the beads they send barely enough... some colors had so many culls that the usable quantity wasn’t enough. I was on my hands and knees on the floor trying to find dropped beads to finish! Had to sub some beads around to stretch.. others I had more than plenty. Ran out of black but had a Toho Pyrite that subbed.3. I would not have chosen the Cotton Candy colors. With the silver lined beads it looks stunning in the light. I would have rather had more “serious” colors.4. No sample pic of finished project. I started this in 1/2 cross which was a mistake I had to continue. With a sample to look at I would have avoided this mistake.

Background is beige
The elephant is the same but the background is not grey which I think looks better than beige.
