Dirt Devil Vacuum Cleaner 360 Reach Pro Corded Bagless Stick and Handheld Vacuum SD12515B

I received this yesterday, so I can't speak yet about longevity of this. But this has the best suction of any handheld vacuum I have ever used. I own a Dyson Animal that I use on our main floor, and I wanted a vacuum to use on our hardwood floors and upstairs. I read a review of this on a blog, which linked to the manufacturer's web site for purchase, and I came to Amazon for some unbiased reviews and was pleased to see it was fifty dollars cheaper here. So this vacuum has great tools, and great suction. The Swipes are machine washable and even with them attached the vacuum still performs great. I am very pleased with this. This is definitely not the handheld type of vac I remember from 30 years ago. This one actually works!

Where to begin? We were attracted to this because we wanted a good dusting tool. We did not expect to use it for overall cleaning or floor cleaning. We have an upright Shark vacuum to do carpets and hard floors, but the detachable canister and hose is awkward and heavy. So, having a vacuum wand with a dusting attachment was all we were looking for to help in cleaning surfaces such as ceiling fans, desk and furniture tops, and cob webs off of walls. The small dusting attachment on this Dirt Devil simply moves dust around with only minimal suction. And after a few uses, you are simply moving dust from one location to another.As others have commented, this seems to run very hot, and my guess is it will overheat. I can't imagine using the floor attachment. The power cord is very heavy with no practical storage - just a Velcro wrap-around strap. The angle attachment used for dusting things like the top of ceiling fan blades is a very cheap design and I can see it breaking early on. It would be pretty worthless for cleaning something like a dirty interior of any automobile, which needs strong suction to pick up everything.Amazon does no service for its customers by selling these kinds of products. I'm just glad I did not spend the frequently encountered $120 retail price.

This vacuum/floor duster is not like your average floor vacuum, wanted something different where i can both sweep/dust the floor and vacuum at the same exact time, i have hard wood floors and tiles (works better on wood floors), relatively powerful which is surprising for the type of vacuum, do not like the ceiling fan duster attachments (they're pointless to be honest), a good addition to the cleaning supplies for a small apartment, suction is decently powerful, easy to go under furniture, I do wish the suction mouth of the vacuum was wider (you can only vacuum so much with the size of the suction mouth), its not that bad, but not worth buying new for $60 in my opinion, gets the job done but BAD for use on wet floors, get it used and save half price if you can.

I have had this item for almost a year. I liked everything else about the many attachments but the carpet brush was not very cooperative with me.One day the brush broke. I remembered I had a warranty and decided to call in and request for a replacement brush.Excellent customer service! The rep walked me through the process and told me to expect a replacement within 5 weeks. I got a whole upgraded vacuum cleaner 360 Reach Pro Corded Bagless Stick with attachments in a matter of days! The brush is bigger and it works even better on hardwood and carpet floors.Great value for money. Great customer service from manufacturer in case of a problem.

Expectations are key with this product. It won't replace your upright or canister vacuum, but it does come in very handy for certain tasks. And in my particular case, the tools and hose on my vaccum are kind of a pain to use. I use my 360 instead of using the tools.Pros:-It's great at cleaning hardwood floors. With the microfiber pad, it becomes essentially a powered dust mop. This sounds like no big deal, but it's great if you have pets. Instead of pulling pet fur from the pad multiple times during cleaning, it is all contained in the bin. The pad also has two textures which helps to get the big stuff and the small stuff.-If you plug the upholstery tool into the vacuum (not the stick), it's powered. This makes it great at cleaning furniture and stairs.Cons:-Cheap feeling. Nothing fits together particularly well. Buttons don't release, and I'm always fighting the tools for fit.-The ceiling fan tool knocks dust everywhere. The suction just isn't strong enough.Overall:I bought this to clean my hard floors and my stairs. And for $95 it does that very well. I'd have given this four stars, but the build quality leaves much to be desired.Update 1/22/2016:The more I use this, the worse it performs. The powered stair tool no longer spins, even though It's been cleaned off. The plastic pieces keep breaking. All this is at this point is a dust mop with suction.

LOVE everything about it. I wish it had a hardwood attachment. But love it otherwise. Highly recommended it!!
