This lunch box or bag or kit, as some will describe it, is soft sided and designed for general use environments. It is not designed for harsh environments where it could get thrown around, such as in some heavy construction environments. It is insulated to keep room temperature or cold food from becoming too hot. It is not designed for hot foods. It has a good storage capacity for the average person's meal. For example, it will hold 2 full size thick peanut butter and jelly sandwiches; a snack sized fruit cup or pudding container; a small can of Vienna sausages; a large apple; a snack bag of 12 baby carrots; 4 bagged hard boiled eggs; 4 to 6 small granola bars; (2) 12 ounce cans of pop; a snack bag of cookies; and a snack bag of corn chips; a few napkins; and a plastic heavy duty knife, fork, and spoon. It is designed to be cleaned by hand using mild soap. It is not dishwasher safe nor washing machine safe. The insulation is not removable. If the size lunch mentioned is acceptable as a meal for you, then this lunch box is a good buy. If you are a heavier eater, then this is probably not the lunchbox for you.
