TransformersGenerations Combiner Wars Deluxe Class Air Raid Figure

Combiner Wars (CW) Air Raide is a great figure and a very nice updated from its G1 self, one of the members of the aerialbot team that was missing to complete Superion from wave one (for some strange reason hasbro decided to release Air Raide on wave 2 which is the stunticon team while on wave one they release Drag-strip with the Aerialbot team) so finally you can complete Superion properly as it should be.The figure has great level of articulation which allow him to be put in great poses, as many other previes figures they only thing missing would be hand rotation and ankle tilt. The detail that he posses is very nice, while it sporting some new molding the only thing that he share is the legs mold and the forearms which are from CW Skydive, but other than that the rest is different.the transformation is pretty much the same to CW Firefly (even though he share some mold design from skydive they hold the same transformation to firefly in the arms.) The legs open up pretty much the same way as the rest of the CW aerialbot jet team members that share this same concept of folding legs so there transformations is very similar to each other. Its simple and effective transformation which can been done in less than a min, heck, you can even transform this guy without the need of instructions of how easy it is but to be safe than sorry the instructions are included inside the package for you to check on how its done which are very well done I may add. This figure just like the rest of the team can also become a arm or a leg for its combine form so options is available of how you want to display him or play with it.Accessory that comes with the figure are a white double barrel gun(just like Skydive's gun) and a giant double barrel rocket missles(?!?). The giant gun is an important component for his limb mode because its the final piece that allows you to make the hand or a feet for its respective limb mode. However the issue with it like the rest is that because this weapon has to become a hand and/or feet it might give this deform look sort of speak (hand looks to big and feet looks small). When in hand mode you have the option to make the hand into a left or a right hand because the thumb has a hinge that allows it to be place either side.The figure unlike the CW wave 1, it comes with a comic as oppose to a card ( i think i prefer the comic over the card TBH). the comic in question outside of the cover page it has nothing to do with the toy character, is just more on the lines Superion fights Devastator and is doesn't last long. but other than that, is nice to have for a good read.This figure since is part of the scramble city gimmick, its capable not just only to be a arm and a leg for one combiner, but it can also be use in other Transformers that have the capability to become a torso mode like CW Silverbolt, CW Optimus Prime, CW Motormaster and soon to come out Hotspot (for Defensor) and Cyclonus (for Galvatronus). This allows you to mix and match limbs from either faction and make it look different because all the transformers of the CW line that becomes a torso share the same connection port which gives you display options which is pretty cool for play value so kids will enjoy it as well the collector.Overall, this figure is a awesome and is nice to have to finally complete Superion properly, is not perfect by all means but still a very awesome figure nonetheless. Im happy that Hasbro is doing a good job with the CW line on the quality on this guys because the plastic doesn't feel cheap at all like other previews figures. I recommend getting this guy but just make sure you don't buy it for more than $20 because its not on that ball park.

Air Raid. What's there to say that hasn't been said about this little guy? He turns into a F14 Tomcat which is the coolest plane ever built. He's a combiner limb which means he's a team player. Don't count him out by himself though. He manages fine on his own.Also there's a gerwalk mode. Why don't more people mention that?

I love Air raid. this version of him is nice but it is not based on the F-15 like in G1. Also, the wings are too long in robot mode. Don't get me wrong, though. It is a cool figure in its own right. Hasbro chose to use this mold for him this time.

I am not totally up to date on transformers but my son was ecstatic.

Not wild about the hands/feet mold for combined form of Superion. But then I don't like the hands/feet on any of the combiner giants. Luckily its an easy fix. This figure made my g1 display nearly complete.

Solid entry into the Generations line. On par with other Combiner Wars "limbs". Probably the nicest looking vehicle mode out of the Aerialbots. Quality on par with this lines other items

Great to see the Aerialbots again! Had to get all figures! I used to own the original figures when I was a kid!

This guy is a lot of money. but this is worth the money if u want all 6 aerialbots.

One of the harder to find Combiner Wars Aerialbots for a good price - a pretty simple figure but essential to complete Superion. Got it for a good price so I'm happy.
