I have a 10 foot span umbrella on my deck to show shade for those sitting on side of my deck. I found these and are holding my umbrella in place. I didn't want to use heavy screws to permanently place my umbrella (plus didn't want the holes in my deck) I could have brought a less expense options such as water/sand refill weights but I wanted the piece of mind that the weight will not change and they are easy to move around when the need arises.

There are cheaper options out there. I bought them cause the third party base stands are large and bulky. Also I didn’t want to buy sand and fill the empty cheaper base stands. I bought four of them cause the umbrella recommends you to have all four base weights on the umbrella stand. You can get away with two base weights but it’s not as sturdy. I recommend all four.

The only thing is that I needed to use a non skid place mat underneath to keep it from moving because it is NOT anchored

The weights fit the stand perfectly.

These have been a great addition to our flimsy umbrella stand. Instead of sand bags we’ve got these sweet looking weights.

The umbrella stand pieces were extremely durable and held the umbrella in place even in high winds.
