Having worked with silicone professionally, you can tell that they have made improvements to this product very recently. I've seen some of the other reviews and how there cases were getting damaged or flimsy around the volume and power buttons. The reason for this is probably because of no underlying structure to those sections. As of my unit purchase, there is clearly a solid skeleton in those areas now which will improve that problem. However, down by the charging port, that area over time will get flimsier and break because there doesn't appear to be an underlying structure supporting it. It's just silicone down there as far as I can tell. The silicone is of the softer variety which is nice and easy to hold but that usually does make for a silicon that is prone to discoloration, ease of breakdown because of hand oils, drop damage as well as making it a lint and dust magnet. It also makes it difficult to take in and out of your pocket. There are ways to make silicone more slick to the touch which is my recommendation for this case though a balance will need to me kept in mind as it could make it more difficult to grip but it would fix the pocket and hand oil damage problem.Over all, I believe a healthy expectation of this case should be kept in mind. Having only paid $12 for this case I don't expect it to last a life time. 6-8 months at most is what I'm estimating. In my opinion though, that is a reasonable amount of time for such a cheap silicone case.3 month update: It has now been three months since I’ve purchased this case. In my initial review I had some concerns regarding the discoloration and silicon deterioration over time and I’m happy to report that only one of those is a slight problem, but the other is holding up very well. The case has started to fade in color, however, it has not really taken on a new tint of color which is a plus. Though I believe that if I were wearing more blue jeans, this would be more of a problem. The structure of the case however has been holding up very well. The part at the bottom where it thought it was going to be flimsy due to usage, has not shown signs of getting loose or breaking down in material. The case still feels just as smooth and gripable since the first day I got it. As of right now, I don’t feel that the case needs replacing which is a plus for a $12 case. We will see what it’s like in another 3 months. Still 5 stars.7 month final review: This is my final review of this case as I will be switching to the new iPhone 12 pro soon. The last photo in my set of pictures is what the case looks like after 7 months of usage. I’ve dropped my phone once and have placed my phone on oily surfaces when cooking and the structural integrity of the case is still fantastic. The spots that I thought would get flimsy over time have held up very well and the feel of the case is still just as gripable as day one. The only down side to the pink case specifically is that it’s now become the most faint pink I have ever seen and is almost white for that matter, but the case is showing no signs of colorization nor does it appear dirty. Again this could be because I don’t wear blue jeans that often but this case has held up extremely well for a $12 case. So very impressed and will consider this brand again with my new phone. 5 stars remains!!!

What a nice case! Fits comfortably in my hand & has a nice soft feel to it. It’s also very durable. A lot cheaper than Otterbox. A really good quality price for such a protective case.

I was looking for a light greenish color. If someone asked me what I was looking for in this case, it would be a “mint” color.After looking at the pictures of the “matcha” and “mint” colors, I was a bit confused. Thus I bought both colors to make sure I got what I wanted, and use the other for an alternative should anything go wrong.What I discovered was the “matcha” color was more greenish, the “mint” color was more bluish. Please see the attached photo. I uploaded just in case anyone else encountered the same dilemma. I prefer the “matcha” to match my light green thoughts.As for the case, I’ve had no issues, but it’s new. I like that has a velour-like inside to protect the finish of the phone. It also sits slightly above the screen so that if you lay the phone on its face, it won’t scratch on a flat surface. It is raised so much, it even accommodates my glass privacy screen protector. I also like the feel of the buttons, they are well designed, raised, and easy to use. Additionally, I like the cutout for the mute switch it looks good and makes it easier to use.Overall I’m very happy, and at a great price point, it is highly recommended.
