I bought this for 2 reasons: 1) I wanted to see why some people crap on this manga series and 2) to see if Japan wrote better lesbian characters/romances than America (the short answer is yes). Overall, this is a strong start to the series that introduces the characters and the dynamics they play in the story. Highly recommend reading this at a slower pace in order to have more time to be with the characters. I’ve definitely grown attached to Mei and Yuzu and I’m currently on volume #3.
