Difficult to install
We just recently put them on and it took a good 1 hr-2 hrs to put these on...and they still seem a bit wobbly. The instructions were hard to follow. I put them on with my dad who is a contractor and has a knack for putting things together, and he even had a difficult time. Also, they are pretty low, which may not be an issue, but was definitely noticeable to the crossbars on my Subaru. I would not purchase these again, and might have returned them if I didn't already spend so much time getting them on my car. But for now, they are doing the job of supporting a J Rack for our kayak.

Just What I Needed
I needed to acquire a roof rack for my wife's Mazda. This roof rack is sturdy and a great value. It was easy to install once I determined how the parts and connectors went together. The provided instructions were very terse. They reminded me of the instruction sheet you get with a blue tooth speaker. I laid the parts on the garage floor. It took a few reorganizations but I was able to see how they fit and would be mounted onto the existing rails. From there the installation was straight forward and quite simple.

Decent Price for 70% Quality
These are impossibly difficult to install. The instructions and stickers were backwards so that was fun. There are small metal clips that fit in the slides and those were not even mentioned. That said its relatively sturdy and supported the kayak. Its cheap and I'd recommend paying more because once they are up they are clearly not 100%.Edit: I have received multiple emails pestering for a review and am taking away a star. Be aware if you purchase you will receive many requests for reviews without stop even if you have already left a review.

Buy OEM instead
These were obviously patterned after the OEM parts but they were engineered incorrectly. The parts did not match the instructions. The instructions were hard to follow. Even when I did manage to get a single piece of hardware on, it was unlikely that the bar would stay in place. The screws would thread too far and then become loose. These bars wouldn't have been stable with something attached to them. I returned these and bought the OEM parts instead. Spend the extra $40 and look for OEM cross bars. The return was seamless but I'm sure a large part of that was Prime.

do yourself a favor and pay the extra $$
Cheaply made product and does not properly fit my car despite checking the make and model. Not sturdy at all and my kayak does not feel secure while driving. Spend the extra money and get some racks that will properly hold anything you are carrying on top of your car.

Snapped off while driving
Crossbar snapped. It had two kayaks on it, well within advertised capacity to hold, and the piece that connects to the side rail snapped, driving the screws straight into my roof and scraping the paint.Luckily, the kayaks stayed attached and nothing flew off into traffic. This could have been incredibly dangerous. Cheaply made, not worth the price or hassle.
