The Pegs To Buy
I used these pegs to secure my Coleman 10x10 screen tent to the ground and they worked well. I am a Ham Radio Operator, and I am always looking for products that hold up well in the field. These was my first use with this product, and everything worked well. There was a 10MPH wind today and the pegs secured the screen tent well without having to use guy wires. The hammer that comes with the kit was easy to handle and the hook on the other side to remove the pegs from the ground made removal easy. You also get extra rope for tie down and a nice carry bag. I give the kit 5*****

Great for car camping
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely great for car camping. I’m using these to tie down my projector screen in the back yard. I already lost one of my expensive titanium stakes by driving it too far into the ground and not being able to get it out. So it’s nice to have these 10 inch stakes. The Hammer is nicest part that’s really why about this set. It also comes with quick tightening tiedowns. My projector screen already had them so that wasn’t a big concern but it’s nice to have extras. Overall very good quality.I hope this review photos were helpful.

Nice kit
This is a good set up, I did not give it five stars for a couple reasons.I think it should come with a few instructions. I personally had no issues on how to use it, but someone not familiar with it may.The photos for the kit show the tent pegs straight up and down. Tent pegs should be hammered in at an angle. It also show that the hook of the hammer is pulling out the peg by the cord. In hard dirt the cord would probably break. I suggest using the hook to pull on the notches on the tent peg.The guylines are great and reflective; nice feature. The guyline adjuster should come with instructions on how to use it. Some users may not know how to adjust the tension. The back end of the hammer I assume is some type of trenching tool. This will come in handy on a rainy day if one wants to dig a small trench around their tent to redirect the rain runoff the tent.I took a file to the trenching part to make it sharper to dig better. I guess one could use the trencher in a garden too.The bag holds everything so that’s cool. It’s a good light weight setup but probably not on an backpacking trip where every ounce of weight counts.

Great kit overall
This kit is awesome, the stakes are heavy duty and the hammer is surprisingly nice, heavier than I thought it would be which is good. My only complaint is that the hammer doesn’t have a rubber pad/head. Hammering the stakes chips the paint on the stake head, this happened the very first time I used them. So, the stakes will rust, assuming they’re untreated steel. Time will tell!

Car side camping item, not a backpack hiking item, but they're as good as advertised.
After the second camping item I purchased online that didn't come with stakes, I went out looking for different types. I got some shepard hook stakes from REI, some random lightweight titanium stakes from somewhere here on Amazon, and this packet I'm reviewing. The bag is super handy, I immediately tossed every excess stake kit I have in it since it has the hammer already in it. Note, kit is much lighter without the hammer but I suppose you could have guessed that. You can always use a rock instead. When I hike/camp, I only take as many stakes as I require and four extra without the hammer. If my needs don't require this packet at all, I just don't bring it. When I car side camp, I ALWAYS bring this bag! Whether you bent a tent stake when tapping it in or you've lost a couple for a tarp or something, you can rest assured that this little kit is in the back of your car. It's as cheap as you suspect it is but it's fine, it's a backup kit or "extra" stakes/strings anyway. I'm giving it five stars.

Work good, easy to pull
We just used these on a fallcamping trip to Onaway State Park in Michigan. The ground there is pretty hard but these worked great. Best of all they came back out pretty easy, something that isn't always true with the "nail-type" stakes we were using previously.

Good value for the price!
Not the highest quality but for the price its great value. Perfect for what I need. The hammer is good and solid, stakes are lightweight but probably only good for soft to medium dirt. I would not use with thick rocky ground but for the price you get a lot.
