PlayStation 3 Slim Console 120GB (Old Model) (Renewed)

UPDATE: I finally received my replacement today and first impressions so far are good! This one actually reads my disc and they all work which is great. The system itself works good and loads everything fairly well. The condition of the PS3 itself is good and clean. The only issue was that it was dinged in the corner next to the power button. Which I'm assuming that happened during shipping I do not think that was the fault of the seller. As the photos I've provided pretty much proves that. Overall, bug upgrade and I'm glad I gave this seller a second chance! Oh and the controller works great!

I love it seems in good condition just a bit of scratches but hey for an old console it looks very good. I love it and the price is good for what it is.

Another review because my first one has disappeared. So here we go. Console shut off due to over heating the first 3 minutes I had it on. The console was so hot in such a short period of time it felt like it was about to melt. I got the console to stay on 1 time for a total of 8 minutes only because the fan turned on (which literally sounded like a helicopter crashing and ripping threw my room) I was able to put my account on but both HDMI and standard output stopped working. After that the console would only power on for 10 seconds to 1 minutes before overheating. Got a refund but cost me 35 bucks to ship back. I emailed rock30 asking them to please make sure my account was removed from the console, didn't even mention the ridiculous return price. Have not gotten any response. Would love to say id remove the review if they reassured me my account was removed but honestly after leaving me in the dark, I think I'd rather leave it here to help protect the next person.

My old PS3 popped on me due to a firmware update issue. Had to buy a new one but nobody in my area had a PS3 for sale. It was a super-slim model which I hated because they are too fragile. So I bought one here after 3 years of financial hell, and I was able to mod it which is a big plus. UPDATE (7/4/2026) 2 hours ago, I went back to my game. I turned it on and the whole display went green. After a whole month, this happens and according to the internet; the green screen is due to a GPU problem and has to be returned to Sony. The thing is Sony no longer supports the PS3 in any capacity (including repairs). The best I could do is return this and wait for my replacement. But if that goes on me too, then (sadly) I'll be requesting a full refund.

Minor scratches on console but no internal damage. Main complaint is that the product is listed as having and official dual shock 3 controller from Sony with it, however what was sent with it was an off brand and non official controller(image provided below). This would be not as big as an issue if the controller wasn’t made poorly and not durable at all. An official controller is included in the product image as well, which is a misrepresentation of what you’re actually given.
