CLASSIC 2 SLICE STAINLESS STEEL TOASTER

I can say that these are the best toasters in the business. I am buying a second one. The first one I had lasted for twenty years. It is time to replace it. It still works! I will always keep a Russell Hobbs toaster. The last one I bought came from Sam's Club. This time I had to buy it straight from the UK. Thanks to Amazon I can do that.

Just Received my toaster and am so happy. Please be aware this item comes from Europe and has a European plug and will need to be modified to work in the United States.

Too powerful. Burns toast

I bought this toaster- ended up donating to charity. It looks to be very well-built but obviously not made for USA electrial standards. It comes with an adapter for USA use but this toaster never got hot enough to hardly heat the bread. I left it in for 5 cycles and all it did was make the bread hard and dried out- but NEVER GOT BROWN or toasted. I was very disappointed.

Gets very hot -toast can fly - hard to get out. My toaster tongs are to big. All in all buy something else.

After 6 months it stopped working. The handle will not stay down. Hard to keep clean

Does not get hot outside, Easy button to eject earlier. Very expensive.

I normally consider toasters to be a necessary evil. I don't want to put the over-expensive grill on each time I want a couple of slices of toast, nor do I want to to receive under-toasted bread or even be prevented from toasting overly-sized bread.I certainly don't want uneven toasted bread either or indeed, bread that's been burnt. I've been plagued with all these problems for what seems like an eternity, until now. This toaster ticks all the right boxes for me. Simple to use; good looking; and very functional. It accepts large and thick slices of bread. It toasts evenly. The middle heat setting (5/10) is calibrated well to produce perfectly toasted bread. For me. It's also easy to empty those annoying crumbs that collect in the tray without much mess. A great value product from Amazon.

I bought this toaster to match my Russell Hobbs Kettle. The polished stainless steel makes it look very classy in my kitchen. You will get finger marks but this is no problem with a wipe off. The toaster itself is perfect toasting bread. It toast all over and pops up when done and is easy to get the toast out with the lift up lever should you need to use it. It has a crumb tray which is easy to slide out and empty. I am really pleased with this toaster and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends, family and anyone contemplating purchasing it. There is one thing that could be improved on and that is the lead is quite short. No problem if you have a socket near the worktop clear of cupboards above. Otherwise fab.
