They should provide for 4 mounting screws. The 2 of each type, one at the top and one at the bottom, cause the plastic lip to deform and deform the rubber gasket. Not sure how waterproof it will be. Also, the rubber "cup" on the back only would work, stay tight on the receptacle, if you mounted to a very thin surface. I mounted in an RV wall, about 1" thick, and the cup would not grip the receptacle.But for the price it will do what I need and add a dedicated Air Conditioner, 20A, circuit.

I initially thought it was a decent product until I disconnected the wires and attempted to reconnect. The internal clamps will no longer securely grip the wires and they can easily be pulled out. The cheap screws stripped out and now it’s a safety hazard.

Because the connection is recessed you need to pay attention to the size of the plug end on your cord, mine fit fine but if you have a large cord end it may not fit.

Excellent value, used to plug my added on RV AC into shore power. It was easy to install and works great.

Product is well made, water resistant and easy to install. Perfect for creating a temporary power source.

It was not easy to install in close quarters. Like any electrical plug it was difficult to manipulate the wires. While installing the connector the screw on the ground leg stripped out and had to purchase a second connector.
