It's not regular Pokemon, but it's fun.
I grew up playing Pokemon as a kid. I started off with Red and went on from there. I eventually downloaded Pokemon Rumble World from the 3DS store and gave it a try. The concept is different from the normal series but I still enjoyed it. After that I decided to purchase this one and it's quite a bit like Rumble World. I like it, but it may not be everyone's thing. If you want to purchase Rumble Blast download Rumble World for free first and see if you want to purchase Rumble Blast. I did and I don't regret it.

9yr old says it is the best pokemon game
9 year old said this game is the best out of any pokemon games. He got a little too addicted to it, and caused the enforcement of device timers, lol. He said there is a lot more to do on this, but it is not too complicated for kids. Not to easy and not to hard

Funny game
This video game is so fun to play. It features Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, and many other Pokemon from the Unova region, including other Pokemon from earlier generations. I like this one better than the newer versions.

Great sequal
I personally enjoyed the wii version of this game very much. Now they have added all the pokemon and much much more content. I played the wii one for over a week straight and I have to say this is a great improvement. It has a story to it and a lot of pokemon to choose from. Age is no matter with pokemon, and if you believe it is, you are missing out.

Amazing
Love this game it's a very fun and addictive game. With nice graphics and beautiful 3d display so I would say it's totally worth it. If you're not to sure on buying it then if you've got a Wii download in the Wii shop pokemon rumble the free demo and it will give you a basic idea of the game :)

a real hit
My grandson, 7 yrs old, asked for Mario 3D Land for Christmas, which I bought. As I wanted to buy a second game for him and with no idea what to buy, I took the online recommendation of this Pokemon game, knowing that he also likes Pokemon. This weekend I asked him which game that he got for CHristmas (he got others) did he like best .... he said Pokemon Rumble Blast! ... then MArio 3D, etc..

Awesome start and awful ending with multiple flaws in between
The game started off as one of the best gaming experienced I've ever had ( 10 out of 10) but closer to the end I got disappointed and I feel that Ambrella didn't do any work at the end of the project to make this game as addicting as it was in the beginning among many other flaws present in the game. This ending and "here and there" mess ups deserve a harsh penalty of 2 out of 10 for an overall 3 out of 5. The reasons for that rating are in the "cons" section.Pros:-a very addicting game-nice music-nice game opening before the start-You truly can recruit more than 600 pokemon-Interesting story development-Special traits idea is very niceCons/Room for improvement:- Graphics could be better, especially when the video opening of the game has awesome graphics and you have high expectations but soon you get dissappointed- Main story could be longer- Why only 1 game account? What if my little bro wants to play this game? Do I really have to buy another game? Thanks for not even giving a choice.- Why only 2 attacks? Y button could be used for a third attack/move. Why is Y button left completely empty? Horrible mistake.-Why is there a 2500 pokemon limit? Why can't it be bigger?-Why power ratings are so small? Why can't they be 9999 max? If you have 4 digit power ratings, please fill them up till the end, why leave a glass 2/3 empty?-Why lower screen is only sensitive for entering passwords for pokemon appearance? That's all that could be thought of?- Type match ups don't really work in the game (eg. try using ground move vs ice type pokemon and try using ice move vs the same pokemon- damage done is equal 0_0)- Some 5 star moves are for some reason more powerful than other 5 star moves even though they are of the same type (try using roar of time and dragon rush on dialga, different damage done)- Legendary pokemon are not as powerful as they are expected to be. Darkrai punchy, for eg with shadow claw, dark pulse and 3145 power level gets beaten up fast in the hauntyard and doesn't do much damage to shadow pokemon, even though dark vs shadow should be super effective, but I don't think staff in Ambrella has even a slightest idea of type match ups. Most of Regigigas is given with a slow start, really upsetting, many regice/regirocks/registeel/zapdos etc are given without special traits, just blank.- More pokemon should be introduced in dungeons/rumpus rooms (meaning instead of 30 pokemon per scene, why not make 90?)- Unfair disadvantage of fighting type moves (such as sacred sword of terrakion) compared to fire type moves, dark/shadow moves, psychic moves etc in terms of speed of the attack and damage done. Think about it, how much damage can you do with psychic and sacred sword? Sacred sword will deal more damage in a given time even if you are hitting a poison type pokemon because psychic is too slow and or not as powerful as sacred sword.-Unfair enemy pokemon advantage over yours, for eg. why Cubchoo in the dungeons have 1000+ hp, but when I make one wobbly and recruit him his top HP is around 800 or 700, unless he is brawny? Same applies to other pokemon and can be seen throughout the game.- Unreasonably high price for raising the world rank (especially for ranks 8, 9 and 10)- Unreasonably low pay for Battle Royales EX 5 (200k Poke? Really?) and for defeating pokemon in the dungeons- Special traits with ++ should get higher stat improvements compared to what is given in the game (eg trait healthy of Boldore get 7 hp recovered per sec, whereas similar Boldore with healthy++ gets only 15 hp recovered, really? Wow, so generous...)-Unreasonable pay for raising the world rank. If I am paying 50 million pokes all I am getting is an increase in power of pokemon in 200 units and that's it? Wow, really? So why do I have to pay 50 million if paying 1.2 or 1.4 million gave me the exact increment of 200 units in power? For 50 million poke I should be getting pokes with power ratings of over 9000 (yes, like in the famous meme) not pathetic 2600 or 2900 or 3200 in rare cases.-Probabilities of finding ++ traits, legendaries, shiny pads and rumpus rooms are very low for such a game (that is actually developed for children in the first place, so imagine their frustration levels for trying to recruit a legendary only to be killed at the end or just getting money for a defeated regice/regirock/registeel/entei etc). Gamefreak and Ambrella for some reason are very harsh in these cases. It is a game for kids, make it easy and fun! Don't make it too challenging.- Street pass for mew, celebi and other pokemon. This idea of special events/trading with friends/street pass/ is like kicking a dead horse - absolutely useless and stupid. Do they (staff in Ambrella) seriously think that people (including kids) will buy 3DS as much as they buy iPhones, iPads, iPods? If yes, then they shouldn't be surprised for their low rating of 6.5/10 on IGN or 56/100 on Metacritic.Overall, I think the idea in this game is great, the core is nice, but details of this game and managing details in this game was poorly done. This game is so raw, I can still hear heated discussions over ideas in the development room. This game has lots of potential, but what is the use of this potential if it's never realized?
